A positive note about an Ozark County post office
With all the bad press the U.S. Postal Service gets, we would like to give a special thank you to Deborah Delp, manager at the Wasola post office, for her continued extra effort. She has always been very helpful and great with customer service, but she recently went beyond the call of duty, and we sure appreciated her.
A customer of ours sent a very large check from Arizona on Jan. 3. He sent the check via Priority Express mail and provided us with the tracking number. As of Jan 23, the check had not arrived!
Our customer called the local Arizona post office, which asked, “Why are you calling us? Look online, and file a request there.” When the customer told us that, we called Deb.
She said, “Oh no! That’s too long. Give me the tracking number, and let me look into it and keep track of it.” The very next day, after she made inquiries, the item was found in Kansas City and was on its way to us. Deb kept track of it and even called to make sure we had received it.
Thank you, Deb, for making our local post office work!
