Funeral services for Pamela Faith Haskins, 77, of Thornfield, were held Sept. 29, 2020, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava with Pastor David Dye and Brother Raymond Haden officiating. Mrs. Haskins died Sept. 26, 2020, at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare in Ava.

She was born Jan. 24, 1943, in Smallett, the daughter of Charles William and Clarssia Rae Davis Goodnight. On Aug. 18, 1963, at Walnut Grove Church, she and Basil Guy Haskins Jr. were married by the Rev. Tom Johnson.

Mrs. Haskins was a retired public school teacher. She started her teaching in Eldon and later taught physical education in the Ava School System for many years. She was a Christian and a member of Thornfield General Baptist Church.  

She enjoyed collecting depression glass and going to auctions. She also enjoyed teaching, and she always encouraged her students. Her joy was her family, and her family adored and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Cindy Russell of Thornfield, and Phillip Haskins and wife Dana of Marshfield; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew, Dillon, Christopher, Rebecca, Emily and Logan;  nine great-grandchildren, Brayden, Myles, Maddex, Kellar, Eisley, Elias, Denver, Aurora and Veronica; her sister, Naida Haden and husband Raymond; her brother, Howard Haskins and wife Leah; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Guy, who died in 2016; and seven siblings, Denzil, Freda, Wanda, Webster, Carl, Wayne and Kathleen.
