Funeral services for Gregory Lee Spoor, 30, of West Plains, were held Dec. 3, 2017, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home in West Plains. Mr. Spoor died Nov. 29 near South Fork.
He was born Feb. 6, 1987, in Garland, Texas, the son of Rodney and Nancy Orr Spoor. He graduated from Koshkonong High School in 2005. On June 1, 2013, in Peace Valley, he married Gainesville High School graduate Morgan Amyx.
He worked as a welder and was a craftsman; he loved bow-hunting, being outdoors and playing with his kids.
He is survived by his wife, Morgan Spoor, of the family home; his children, Shyenne, Brooks, Avery and Chase and twins on the way; his parents, Rodney and Nancy Spoor of West Plains; one sister, Amy Hall and husband Grant of Mountain View; grandparents Joe and Helen Spoor and Christene Stevens, all of Alton; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Marley Ann; his grandmother, Dorothy Rogers; and his grandfather, Philip Orr.
Burial was in the Mint Springs Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family and left at the funeral home or made online at the gofundme.com account (search for “Greg Spoor”) set up to help with funeral and family expenses.
