Beth Ann Roberts Denninger, 68

Beth Ann Roberts Denninger, 68 of Theodosia, made her Transition from our arms to God’s on Dec. 8th, 2018. Beth was a 20 year cancer survivor who was the most positive person on earth and never lost her sense of humor or love for chocolate.  She was born on Nov. 21st, 1950 to Alfred Henry & Elizabeth Jane Roberts in Teaneck, NJ.  She lived in Bogota, NJ and graduated Bogota High School in 1968.  She graduated from Douglas College (Rutgers) with a Bachelors in English and went on to get her Masters in fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.  She worked in the industry as a hat designer for a few years and then went back to F.I.T. as a professor of Millenary.

She met her husband Al Denninger when she was working in a craft gallery where he was selling his blacksmithing wares.  They were married in the craft village of Sugar Loaf, NY in 1978 and were married for 40 years.  Beth worked as a bookkeeper for a friend until 1988 when she and Al started Denninger Weather Vanes, (Denninger.com) where she was partner, artist, and bookkeeper for 30 years.  Her original designs grace homes, including those of presidents, businesses and public buildings on 6 continents.

Beth & Al semi-retired to Point 12 in Marion County, AR, just South of Theodosia, MO in 2005.

Beth loved to be around friends and family, play games, read, travel, help, support and inspire.  Her favorite phrase to hear was, “wanna go for a ride?”  She was a beloved member of the Ladies at the Lake Red Hats where she served as Vice Queen for many years and was the comedienne emeritus.  She donated her time to many causes during her life including:  Friends of Thrall Library, CROC Alumni, Humane Society, TAVFD Aux….

She was predeceased by her parents and is survived by her brother Alfred Henry Roberts, Jr. of Harwich Port, MA and her husband Alfred Henry Denninger of Theodosia, MO.  She donated her body to science so that every ounce of her could help to find to a cure for cancer.  There will be a Life Party celebration at her home in the spring.  Donations to Hospice of the Ozarks.
