She was born Feb. 8, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Bruce Raymond and Anna Marie Hohn Jagor.
She graduated from the St. Scholastica Academy in Chicago in 1953. Following graduation, she attended Iowa State University in Ames. On July 7, 1956, in Chicago, she married Bruce David Rosenquist. They were married 55 years.

When the couple located back in the Chicago area, Dr. Rosenquist went into private practice, and Mrs. Rosenquist did his bookkeeping and assisted at his veterinary clinic. Later, with their family started, she became a full-time homemaker.
After many years of teaching, research and raising a family, the Rosenquists retired in 1992 to Isabella in the beautiful Ozarks of southern Missouri.
