Chloe Etta Starkey, 91

A graveside service for Chloe Etta Starkey, 91, of Liberty, formerly of Gainesville, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Mount Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road in Kansas City. Mrs. Starkey died March 3 at a nursing home in North Kansas City.
She was born July 21, 1926, in Gainesville, the daughter of Everett and Ella Lininger. She married John P. Starkey.
Mrs. Starkey was a devoted member of Belton Church of Christ. She went to nursing school and had a passion for helping people. She loved to travel, and leaves behind many friends in Mission, Texas; she wintered in Texas for eight months out of the year. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews..
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
