This page of photos is featured in the 1980 edition of the Hay Hollow YCC camp yearbook. The YCC camp, which had been run as an all-girls camp from its beginning in 1971, was transitioned to a co-ed camp in 1980. Camp director Carl Williams wrote in the yearbook, “This summer has been unusual. The heat each day was around 100 degrees. The poison ivy was the only thing that seemed to thrive. The campers came in from work drenched with perspiration and dirt... It truly took an outstanding person to stay.”
