A Mountain Home, Arkansas woman has pleaded guilty to second degree murder.

Television station KSPR is reporting that Aimee Lynn Herring, 30, also pleaded guilty to first degree robbery and armed criminal action. The charges are in connection with the September 2010 death of Macomb, Missouri resident Philip Taylor.

Prosecutors say Herring and April Quick, 33 of Mountain Home, met up with Taylor at a roadside park between Ava and Mansfield. The Douglas County Sheriff says both women admitted to shooting and stabbing Taylor. Court documents explain the motive for the murder as a child custody dispute.

Quick is Taylor's ex-girlfriend. She's facing charges of first degree murder, robbery and armed criminal action. Her trial will begin in December.

Herring will be sentenced August 2.
