The late portion of the youth deer firearms season will be held this weekend, Friday through Sunday, Nov. 24-26. Youth ages 6 to 15 are eligible to participate. Only one antlered deer may be taken during the entire firearms season, all portions combined. Up to two anterless deer may be taken during the entire firearms season, all portions combined.
The early portion of this year’s youth season was held Oct. 28-19. During the early portion, young hunters harvested 169 deer in Ozark County. That total included 110 antlered bucks, 15 button bucks and 44 does.
