Young rider wins big

Jentry Harley, 8, was named Youth Reserve Grand Champion recently in the 11 and under category of the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association’s 2018 spring show in Ava. Jentry has been showing Missouri Fox Trotters for a year and a half, and this was only her fourth time to compete in an event. Last year, she participated in the youth lead-line competition. Jentry, who also took first in the 17 and under novice division, is the daughter of Jess and Jonathan Harley of Ava and the granddaughter of Pam Ross and great-granddaughter of Bob and Peggy Robbins, all of Gainesville.
