Two teens injured in crash south of Dora

Tristan Wittkofski, 19, of Gainesville and Melanie Hann, 17, of Willow Springs, were transported by ambulance to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains after sustaining injuries in a single-vehicle crash Friday on Highway 181, about 2 miles south of Dora.

The online Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report says Wittkofski was driving a 2006 Ford Mustang northbound on Highway 181 around 7:30 a.m. July 17 when he skidded off the roadway and struck two trees. 

Wittkofski sustained moderate injuries, according to the report. Hann, who was a passenger in the vehicle, sustained minor injuries. Both teens were wearing seatbelts, the report said.  

The Mustang, a total loss, was towed from the scene. 

The crash was investigated by MSHP MSgt C. A. Hogue.
