Two residents injured in crashes

Two Ozark County residents sustained injuries in two separate vehicle crashes  in Ozark County recently.
On Friday, March 16, Tyler Garrison, 13, of Isabella was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas, with minor injuries after a rollover accident. According to the MSHP online report filed by J. O. Prater, 16-year-old Brianna Waynan of Isabella was traveling northbound on HH Highway in Isabella in a 2001 Chevy Tahoe with Garrison as a passenger when the vehicle ran off the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned. Neither Waynan or Garrison was wearing a seat belt. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was towed from the scene.
Ty Ray Carter, 43, of Caulfield was taken by air ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield on Saturday, March 17, after sustaining serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report filed by Trooper J. R. Roberts, Carter was traveling eastbound on Highway 160 about 3 miles east of Tecumseh in a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport around 2:30 p.m. Saturday when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and went off the left side of the roadway. The Montero overturned, and Carter, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the SUV. The vehicle came to rest off the roadway. The vehicle, moderately damaged, was towed from the scene.
