Tecumseh man injured in crash with parked vehicle on Highway 160
Everett G. Neumann, 76, of Tecumseh was flown by air ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield on Feb. 26 with serious injuries he sustained as the result of a crash with a parked vehicle in Tecumseh. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Neumann was traveling eastbound on Highway 160 at Tecumseh around 1 p.m. that Monday in a 2013 Ford Escape when his vehicle struck a 1999 Ford F150 parked at the gas station just east of the Tecumseh bridge. After hitting the parked truck, Neumann’s vehicle crossed Highway 160 and struck an embankment. No one was inside the parked truck at the time of the collision, according to the report. Neuman was wearing a seatbelt. The Ford Escape sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
