Feb. 5 (continued

9:52 a.m. – Caller said he shot a big black dog that was chasing his cows along Highway 95 near Thornfield; he said he told the neighbor he had shot his dog. OCSD rendered assistance.
12:02 p.m. – Medical: 73-year-old male fell from standing and has bruise on the back of his head. Thornfield VFD and OCA responded. Patient was transported to Cox Hospital-Branson.
3:31 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident at Lick Creek Bullseye; no injuries and vehicle is not blocking roadway. OCSD rendered assistance.
4:47 p.m. – Caller reported damage to fence at the ball park in Bakersfield. OCSD officer checked for damage and found only section of previously damaged fence.
6:29 p.m. – Gainesville caller reported identity theft. OCSD officer contacted reporting party, who provided phone number for further details.
6:30 p.m. – Reporting party in Gainesville says a female subject was instructed by OCSD officer to return vehicle and sign over title, and she has not done so. OCSD officer spoke with both parties; reporting party said she would file stolen vehicle report if vehicle was not returned by the next day.
7:48 p.m. – Person said she lost her keys at Subway. Person called later and said she had found her keys.
9:44 p.m. – Subject arrested at Angler Motel.

Feb. 6
2:43 a.m. – Baxter County (Arkansas) Sheriff’s Office called about a 16-year-old female who had run away from grandparents’ house in Ozark County. OCSD rendered assistance. Juvenile was to meet BCSD officer.
5:46 a.m. – Medical: 27-year-old female has trouble breathing, has red tint to skin and blotchy patches. OCA responded. Patient transported to Cox Hospital - Branson.
10:08 a.m. – Medical: 75-year-old male has 32 heart rate. OCA responded; patient transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
10:59 a.m. – Howell County caller said a person had called and said he was going to end it all. Crisis worker called and said she cannot reach the subject. OCSD rendered assistance.
12:11 p.m. – Disturbance reported at Gainesville High School. Handled by OCSD officer.
1:08 p.m. – Medical: 55-year-old male wants to go to stress unit. OCA and Theodosia Area VFD responded. Patient transported to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.
3:26 p.m. – Caller on Highway 160 said at 11:30 a.m. a white 1990s Jeep with two men in their mid-20s inside pulled into the driveway. The men got out to check out the house and then ran when they saw the caller in the window. Wanted it on record. OCSD rendered assistance.
3:32 p.m. – Caller found animal-tranquilizing darts inside her fence; she hasn’t found any animals missing as of yet. Wanted it on record. OCSD rendered assistance.
5:30 p.m. – Well-being / security check requested in an apartment. OCSD responded; checked OK.
8:25 p.m. – Caller said someone is trying to break in on Highway 160. OCSD responded; checked OK.

Feb. 7
12:14 p.m. – Caller said a male subject is beating on her front door on Highway 160. OCSD rendered assistance.
1:36 p.m. – Caller said he was chased down by two males threatening to shoot him. Person was given courtesy ride to his residence; trespass warning was given.
2:43 a.m. – Medical: 56-year-old male is awake but not responsive. OCA and Caney Mountain VFD responded.
7:25 p.m. – Caller  reported people around burned apartments on Highway 181. Handled by OCSD officer.
9:30 p.m. – Traffic stop at Highways 160 and 95.
9:34 p.m. – Medical:78-year-old female has chest pains. OCA responded. Patient transported to BRMC.
9:56 p.m. – Traffic stop on Highway 160.
10:15 p.m. – Traffic stop on Spring Creek Bridge on Highway 160.

Feb. 8
12:42 a.m. – Medical: 76-year-old female’s life alert has been activated; unknown circumstances. OCA responded.
7:20 a.m. – Medical: 92-year-old female is not feeling well. OCA and Theodosia Area VFD responded.
9:13 a.m. – Caller said several items are missing from site on County Road 830. OCSD officer tried to contact the reporting party but got no answer.
11:50 – Medical: elderly male is unresponsive. Brixey-Rockbridge VFD, OCA, Air Evac notified.
12:08 p.m. – Medical: elderly male is unresponsive. Coroner notified.
2:52 p.m. – Suspicious silver vehicle reported on Highway 101. Information was given to Howell County.
9:46 p.m. – Traffic stop Highways 160 and 5 south.
10:19 p.m. – Disturbance reported at Angler Motel. Subject needs to be removed. Handled by OCSD officer.

Feb. 9
12:18  a.m. – Caller on County Road 328 says a dumptruck ran him off the road yesterday about 4 p.m. and didn’t even stop. Caller said this isn’t the first time the dumptruck driver has done this. Handled by OCSD officer.
12:24 a.m. – Security motion alarm activated on Highway 160. OCSD responded; checked OK, but building is open and no one is in the building. Unable to contact key holder.
10:03 a.m. – Two red and three black bull calves reported stolen on County Road 830. Officer spoke with reporting party, who said he had contacted MSHP Rural Crimes Investigation Unit and would call OCSD again when he had heard from them
12:52 p.m. – Medical: 46-year-old female has chest pains. OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.
12:59 p.m. – Grass fire reported on HH Highway about 2 miles from Highway 160. Theodosia Area VFD responded.
1:04 p.m. – Caller said someone is cutting firewood on his property. Handled by officer; matter was resolved.
2:37 p.m. – A pickup has lost a wheel on Highway 160 but is not blocking road. MSHP rendered assistance.
3:43 p.m. – Prisoner transport – Texas County.
4:50 p.m. – Subject will not give children to reporting party. Wanted it on record. OCSD rendered assistance.
4:56 p.m. – Vehicle accident call changed to stranded motorist call at Tecumseh. OCSD rendered assistance.
5:21 p.m. – Caller said a car passed the school bus as her child was getting off the bus in Gainesville. OCSD rendered assistance.
7:09 p.m. – Caller on County Road 830 said someone ran him off the road. OCSD rendered assistance.
7:25 p.m. – Caller on County Road 830 said a person came flying by his house, yelling threats. Wanted it on record. OCSD rendered assistance.
8:15 p.m. – Vehicle accident in school parking lot. OCSD rendered assistance.
9:01 – Caller said someone has tried to get into his shed on Ambassador Drive. Wanted it on record for now. OCSD rendered assistance.
9:05 p.m. – Caller hit a deer in his 1998 GMC Yukon on KK Highway. Wanted it on record.
10:18 p.m. – Security alarm activated at area business. OCDS officer responded; checked OK.
11:13 p.m. – Caller hit a deer on Highway 160 east of town. Is taking meat.

Feb. 10
11:45 a.m. – Brush fire reported at KK Highway and County Road 349. Pottersville and Dora VFDs responded.
2:16 p.m. – Stolen tools and ammo reported on Henry Lane. Report taken.
2:20 pm. – Reporting party says a male subject broke into her home and poisoned her dog but didn’t steal anything. OCSD officer spoke with reporting party and suggested placement of game cameras.
4:07 p.m. – Well-being / security check requested. Officer spoke with individuals in lobby. Everything checked OK.
4:10 p.m. – Brush fire reported north of County Road 35. Referred to Baxter County, Arkansas, Sheriff’s Office.
4:14 p.m. – Well-being / security check requested on Possum Trot Road. OCSD officer checked; everything OK.
5:16 p.m. – Caller said a person showed up at a house on County Road 511 who is not supposed to be there. OCSD responded; gone on arrival.
5:29 p.m. – Medical: 38-year-old male has severe back pain and needs to go to BRMC. OCA responded; patient transported.
5:37 p.m. – Caller lost keys – six or seven keys on a ring – at Gainesville post office. Wanted it on record in case found.
6:13 p.m. – Caller saw lights on at a location on County Road 315, and no one should be there. OCSD officer responded; checked OK.
7:29 p.m. – Medical: 50-year-old female needs to go to BRMC. OCA responded; patient transported.  
10:37 p.m. – Medical: 50-year-old male is having trouble breathing. Theodosia VFD and OCSD responded.
11:55 p.m. –  Medical: 58-year-old male is numb on his right side and is not feeling well. Ambulance transported to BRMC.

Feb. 11
11:15 a.m. – Caller on MM Highway said a couple of weeks ago, six bales of hay were stolen and this morning two more bales were stolen. OCSD officer spoke with reporting party.
4:56 p.m. – Medical: 73-year-old female is not feeling well and is having trouble breathing. Caney Mountain VFD and OCA responded. Patient transported to BRMC.
5:43 p.m. – Stranded motorist in black Ford truck on J Highway. Ron’s Recovery dispatched.
7:50 p.m. – Vehicle went through fence and is now driving in field at J Highway and T Highway east. MSHP rendered assistance.

Feb. 12
7:40 a.m. – Black town in roadway on N Highway. OCSD rendered assistance, left message on answering machine.
