May 21

8:03 a.m. – Medical: elderly woman is breathing but unresponsive. Thornfield VFD and Ozark County Ambulance responded. Mercy Lifeline declined due to weather. Patient was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
9:27 a.m. – Caller in Pontiac said someone stole a bag from her. Handled by OCSD officer.
10:40 a.m. – Caller at Court Square Pharmacy said someone tried to submit a false prescription for a restricted drug. OCSD took report.
3:41 p.m. – Cows reported out on Highway D north. OCSD rendered assistance.
4:06 p.m. – Caller in Gainesville reported a Paypal scam. OCSD rendered assistance.
6:19 p.m. – Several guns reported stolen on KK Highway. OCSD rendered assistance.
7:01 p.m. – Caller needs to get camper from a location at Cloud 9 Ranch. OCSD rendered assistance.
7:14 p.m. – Several calls came in about a black Angus with white tag on Highway 160 at Miller’s Store. OCSD rendered assistance but was unable to determine animal’s owner. Call was referred to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
7:47 p.m. – Careless and imprudent driver in semi truck reported completely in left lane, northbound, on HIghway 5 south. Referred call to MSHP.
9:30 p.m. – Medical: 66-year-old male is having chest pains. OCA and Dora and Air Evac were dispatched; Air Evac was canceled. Patient was transported to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.
10:46 p.m. – Domestic / disturbance: reporting party and brother are fighting on County Road 546. OCSD rendered assistance; parties separated.

May 22
12:25 a.m. – Traffic stop on Spring Creek Bridge. OCSD rendered assistance.
1:49 a.m. – Tree in roadway on JJ Highway. OCSD rendered assistance.
6:34 a.m. – Caller reported a fight with ex-husband. He is possibly on drugs and got physical with her trying to take their son. Reporting called back at 7 a.m. and said to disregard.
8:48 a.m. – Caller hit deer in her 2012 Chevy impala on Highway 160 near Tecumseh curves; vehicle has damage to headlights and front-end damage. Wanted it on record for insurance.
9:54 a.m. – Medical: 66-year-old male is having trouble breathing. OCA and Gainesville Fire responded. Patient was transported to OMC.
4:07 p.m. – Medical: 70-year-old female heart patient has dropping blood pressure that has been fluctuating all afternoon. OCA and Theodosia Area VFD responded. Patient was transported to Cox Hospital Branson.

May 23
3:57 a.m. – Residential alarm activated on Northfork Terrace. Homeowner responded and found nothing broken into or stolen. Believes it was false alarm.
8:02 a.m. – Two chain saws were reported stolen from River of Life Drive. Officer spoke with reporting party by phone.
4:38 p.m. – Assistance rendered in repossession of a tractor on County Road 513.
8:42 p.m. – Medical: 53-year-old female has swollen arm from spider bite. OCA and Tecumseh VFD responded. Patient was transported to OMC.
10:04 p.m. – Medical: 25-year-old male with broken arm. OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.
10:57 p.m. – Security alarm activated at the Antler. OCSD responded; checked OK.

May 24
1:07 a.m. – Medical: 55-year-old female who had recent scope surgery is having ing trouble breathing. OCA, Tecumseh and Dora VFDs responded. Air Evac and Cox Air declined due to weather. Coroner was contacted at 2:08 a.m.
4:53 a.m. – Prisoner transport, Metropolitan Mental Health.
8:59 a.m. – Child abuse reported in Gainesville. OCSD rendered assistance.
12:51 p.m. – Medical: reporting party had a stroke three weeks ago and is needing help. Brixey-Rockbridge VFD and Cox Ambulance were contacted. BRBVFD responder said he was out of state; other BRBVFD volunteers were paged with no response.
3:56 p.m. – Truck rollover reported at J and T Highways. MSHP, OCA, Timber Knob, Lick Creek and Gainesville VFDs and West Plains hazmat responded.
5:47 p.m. – Juvenile: reporting party said he was assaulted by his grandfather in Gainesville. Subject arrested.
9:19 p.m. – Stranded motorist: truck and trailer broke down on W Highway. OCSD rendered assistance.
10:24 p.m. – Traffic stop on Highway 5 north. OCSD rendered assistance.
10:53 p.m. – Vehicle stop at DX station in Theodosia. Warrant arrest.
11:11 p.m. – Medical: 75-year-old male has GI bleed and needs transport to BRMC. OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.
11:43 p.m. – OCSD aided MSHP in making warrant arrest on Highway 160 on west side of Theodosia.

May 25
2:24 a.m. – ATVs reportedly driving on roadway on Rosebud Lane. OCSD rendered assistance; gone on arrival.
6:34 a.m. – Caller said a heavy-set man with no shirt on was at the old red barn on Highway 5 north. The man had a red truck and was gone when reporting party drove by again later. Wanted it on record.
9:40 a.m. – Medical: pregnant woman is vomiting blood. OCA responded. Patient was transported to OMC.
3:22 p.m. – Suspected drunk driver in white Chevy truck on Highway 160 westbound. Unable to locate.
5:06 p.m. – Reporting party said a person never showed up for scheduled child exchange at the sheriff’s office. Needed it on record. Mother showed up at 8 p.m.
5:33 p.m. – Four wheelers reported on Rosebud Lane. Handled by officer.
5:49 p.m. – Truck and trailer is broken down on Highway 160 east. OCSD rendered assistance.
5:56 p.m. – Medical: ATV accident. OCA responded. South Howell canceled. Patient was transported to OMC.
6:46 p.m. – Security alarm activated on production door on County Road 806. OCSD responded; checked OK.
7:15 p.m. – Roadway obstruction reported on Highway 95. OCSD rendered assistance.
7:22 p.m. – Caller said a black truck has washed off a side road on Highway 5 north and is floating down the creek. Driver is out. OCSD, Wasola VFD and Gainesville Fire responded.
10:27 p.m. – Medical: 64-year-old male has tightness in chest and high blood pressure. OCA and Theo-dosia Area VFD responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.
10:44 p.m. – Onstar service reported a car going under water on County Road 528. OCSD rendered assistance, and Ron’s Recovery was dispatched.
11:17 p.m. – Caller said a man had stabbed himself with a machete and killed himself at a house on V Highway. OCSD responded. South Howell Ambu-lance was dispatched but was canceled. Suspect was located, and everything is OK.
11:51 p.m. – Medical: 78-year-old female has shallow breathing, pain in chest and arm and then was not breathing. CPR had been in progress for 15 minutes at 11:52. OCSD responded; on scene at 12:32 a.m. Baxter County Ambulance responded. Coroner was called at 12:36 a.m.

May 26
1:48 a.m. – OCSD assisted MSHP at Dollar General location.
3:52 a.m. – Medical: 73-year-old female with COPD fell and hit her head. Has knot on back of head and was without oxygen for five minutes. OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.
6:59 a.m. – Reporting party said she heard a gun shot and people yelling and fighting at Patrick Bridge Campground. She says these individuals have been bickering all night. OCSD, MSHP responded. Handled by officer.
10:02 a.m. – OCA staged at Pontiac Cove Marina for 5K.
10:25 a.m. – Unspecified medical. Call was canceled.
10:27 a.m. – OCA staged at Theodosia Sizzling Summer festival.
11:17 a.m. – Caller said an ATV is driving fast on HH Highway from Spring Creek Resort.
1:05 p.m. – Medical: 42-year-old female is having pancreatic attack. Wasola VFD was toned; no response. OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.
1:07 p.m. – Highway obstruction: gravel covering roadway on Highway 95 north of County Road 908. Referred to Missouri Department of Transportation.
2:33 and 2:58 p.m. – Motor vehicle rollover accident on Highway 181 south of Ball Church of Christ. Single person, unknown injuries; road is not blocked. OCSD rendered assistance; Air Evac was called and canceled.  OCA and Dora VFD were dispatched.
3:32 p.m. – Verbal disturbance reported on County Road 374. OCSD responded: Twelve-hour rule was instated and parties were separated.
4:15 p.m. – Medical: First Alert alarm activated for unknown situation. OCA and Bakersfield VFD responded but were canceled when false alarm was determined .
6:24 p.m. – Caller said a person did not meet with kids for pickup in Gainesville. OCSD rendered assistance.
8:01 p.m. – Several people are reportedly fighting near Pettit Canoe. OCSD responded. Handled by officer; parties have been separated.
8:01 p.m. Medical: Elderly female is not feeling well. OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.
11:18 p.m. – Person is slumped over, passed out, with foot on the brake in van in a driveway on County Road 318. OCSD responded. Subject arrested. Duke’s Towing dispatched.

May 27
2:05 a.m. – Subject arrested at Dawt.
2:07 a.m. – Medical: possible miscarriage. OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.
6:06 a.m. – Brush fire reported at Cloud 9 Ranch. Bakersfield VFD responded.
11:25 a.m. – Caller said a large hole has opened up in County Road 142 by Souder sign where gravel has been washed out. Notified county road and bridge department; hole will be fixed Tuesday.
2:49 p.m. – Reporting party says his estranged stepson has shown up on his property. Reporting party wants the subject removed and advised not to come back. MSHP rendered assistance.
1:06 p.m. – Reporting party says a female subject is on his property and is under the influence of something. OCSD responded; subject arrested.
3:22 p.m. – Domestic / disturbance: Caller in Theodosia said a subject hit her in the jaw. Handled by OCSD officer.
3:30 p.m. – Drunk person reported at Dawt Mill. MSHP rendered assistance.
6:55 p.m. – Disturbance: neighbors are arguing at Airport Trailer Park. Handled by OCSD officer.
7:39 p.m. – Drunk driver in white newer model Jeep at Tecumseh. MSHP rendered assistance.
9:02 p.m. – Medical: ATV rollover. OCA and Air Evac responded.
9:40 p.m. – Suspected drunk person is hitting vehicle with fist in OCSD parking lot. Subject arrested on 12-hour hold.
11:53 p.m. – Medical: 84-year-old female has high blood pressure. OCA and Air Evac responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.

May 28
12:08 a.m. – OCSD assisted MSHP at Highway 160 and Hilltop.
12:56 a.m. – Door is open at laundry-mat. OCSD responded. Checked OK.
1:36 a.m. – Traffic stop at Highway 5 and Pinnacle Ranch. OCSD rendered assistance.
