March 5
8:32 a.m. – Medical: 64-year-old female is full of fluid. Ozark County Ambu-lance and Bakersfield VFD were dispatched. Patient was transported by South Howell Ambulance.
12:33 p.m. – Road signs and mailboxes reportedly damaged in the Country Club Drive area. Wanted it on record.
1:16 p.m. – Caller said he wants his ex-wife out of the house off County Road 550. Reporting party called back and said to cancel.
4:41 p.m. – Reporting party in Gainesville said he received a spam call from a local business phone number but the spam call was not related to the local business. He wanted it on record for public knowledge that spam callers are using local numbers of cell phones and businesses.
4:46 p.m. – Medical: 74-year-old female has passed out but is now conscious and breathing. OCA and air ambulanced accepted; patience transported.
5:20 p.m. – Reporting party says his door has been kicked in on County Road 806. OCSD responded; subject arrested.
5:50 p.m. – Reporting party wants a male subject removed from his residence on County Road 806. Handled by OCSD officer.
5:57 p.m. – Medical: 66-year-old male has chest pain. OCA and Air Evac dispatched. Patient was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center.
6:50 p.m. – Storage units owner filled out a statement saying he had found several IDs in an empty unit. Wanted it on record.
7:31 p.m. – Reporting party said a male subject driving a red truck is peeling out in the parking lot at the Theodosia Dollar General store. Subject is cutting circles and speeding through the lot. Reporting party asks that a deputy advise the male subject he is no longer allowed on the property. OCSD responded; gone on arrival.
8:29 p.m. – Prisoner transport to Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

March 6
2:14 a.m. – Subject came to sheriff’s office to report that he had been attacked in his own house. OCSD responded; 12-hour rule was instated.
 3:38 a.m. – Highway obstruction: tire in the road on Highway 160 near Theodosia Bridge. Theodosia Area VFD will move the tire.
7:57 a.m. – Well-being / security check requested on a person off County Road 950 who has been emailing a person in Israel and stopped a week ago. OCSD responded; checked OK.
8:13 a.m. – Caller on County Road 905 said a male subject is threatening cedar cutters and ran them all off the caller’s property. The subject told them he will burn their equipment if they show up again. OCSD officer spoke with reporting party by phone. Subject has been warned about threatening the cedar cutters and was told that next time it happens, he will be brought in.
10:02 a.m. – Medical: 81-year-old female has possible broken hip. Theodosia Area VFD and OCA responded.
11:05 a.m. – Dora-area caller said she is getting calls about continuing the warranty on her car; she has had at least three calls and wants them to stop. Caller has contacted the attorney general’s office, and the calls still have not stopped.
12:13 p.m. – A juvenile reported wants to commit suicide at an area school. Handled by OCSD officer.
1:02 p.m. – Medical: 47-year-old female is sick. Gainesville Fire and OCA responded.
1:12 p.m. – Glass breakage alarm activated in a shop on Buckhorn Ranch Road. Subject is driving a bronze Ford truck. Handled by OCSD officer.
2:38 p.m. – Brush fire reported at OO Highway and County Road 335 in Douglas County. Brixey-Rockbridge VFD was contacted. Power line is down; unknown if it’s live. Douglas County was contacted.
3:25 p.m. – Brush fire at Sunburst Ranch, possibly due to downed power line. Dora and Tecumseh VFDs responded. Howell-Oregon Electric Co-op was contacted.
3:33 p.m. – Fire on County Road 142. Control burn from yesterday has started back up. Caney Mountain, Wasola VFDs responded; Brixey-Rock-bridge is tied up at another fire but was en route later. At 5:10 p.m., landowner refused to let fire department on the land. Caney Mountain VFD is having him sign a waiver.
4:20 p.m. – Reporting party said his red 1994 Ford truck was parked in his yard on JJ Trail. Now it is at the end of his drive. Reporting party asked OCSD to check to see if the house was broken into. OCSD rendered assistance. At 7:26 p.m. vehicle was in the way of Tecumseh Creek Road. Structure was entered.
 5:05 p.m. – Brush fire behind Dawt Mill due to downed power line. Tecumseh and Dora VFDs responded; utility co-op was contacted.
5:50 p.m. – Stranded motorist on Highway 5 near Pinnacle Ranch. OCSD rendered assistance.
6:22 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle: Black Jeep is driving in the creek bed on County Road 142. OCSD rendered assistance.
7:39 p.m. – Highway obstruction: tree is across roadway on County Road 503. OCSD rendered assistance; commissioner was contacted.
9:54 p.m. – Caller believes someone may be squatting in an old camper on his property on Highway 181. OCSD spoke with neighbor to the property, who said they had not seen anyone on the property or staying in the camper.
8:34 and 8:36 p.m. – Rollover vehicle accident on County Road 119: no injuries. OCSD rendered assistance; Wasola VFD and OCA were dispatched. Incident may have involved intoxicated driver. MSHP was contacted; subject was taken into custody.
8:53 p.m. – Aid another agency: Marshfield Police Department asked OCSD to make contact with subject on Grant Lane and let her know her checkbook was found in some stolen property. OCSD rendered assistance.

March 7
11:19 a.m. – Caller said most signs on Country Club Drive are damaged or gone. OCSD rendered assistance.
11:42 p.m. – Black cows are out at County Roads 514 and 519. Subject was called but said they did not belong to him. He is going to check.
11:48 a.m. – Well-being / security check on County Road 342. County graders have been on that road and have not seen a subject lately. Handled by OCSD officer.
3:15 p.m. – Reporting party said his house on Highway 160 was broken into while he was out of town. He will come into OCSD office and fill out a statement.
4:12 p.m. – Careless and imprudent driver in red GMC reported on HH Highway. MSHP rendered assistance.
4:58 p.m. – Vehicle accident reported at low-water bridge. Parties exchanged insurance information.
9:41 p.m. – Caller said a silver Chevy Trail Blazer just left a residence on County Road 157, possibly stealing items. Handled by OCSD officer.

March 8
5:18 a.m. – Medical: 67-year-old male is experiencing dizziness. OCA responded; patient was transported to Ozarks Medi-cal Center in West Plains.
10:10 a.m. – Emergency sirens were tested in Theodosia, Gainesville and Bakersfield. Theodosia siren was not work. Bakers-field’s worked. Gainesville downtown siren did not work but the other one did.
1:31 p.m. – Unspecified juvenile situation reported on Cloud 9 Drive. OCSD took report.
2:13 p.m. – Medical: 84-year-old male has burned leg from knee to ankle. Wasola VFD, OCA and Air Evac responded.
2:37 p.m. – Lots of calls about a loud explosion in Caulfield and Gainesville.
4:04 p.m. – Caller wants his son removed from residence on County Road 806. OCSD rendered assistance.
5:16 and 5:18 p.m. – Two-vehicle accident at Highways OO and 160. Theodosia Area VFD, OCA and MSHP responded.
6:22 p.m. – Detective from another agency called requesting assistance related to a person missing from Florida since March 5. She is believed to be in this area. OCSD rendered assistance; subject was arrested.
6:38 p.m. Caller reported that her house had been broken into and lots of items were stolen. OCSD took report.
7:19 p.m. – Vehicle fire reported west of Theodosia. Unable to locate.

March 9
9:30 a.m. – Caller reported that a deer tree stand has been taken from his property off Highway 181 near Hodgson Mill in the last 30 days. Wanted it on record.
9:51 a.m. – Caller on Highway 160 at Spring Creek said someone may be firing a gun going down the highway in a yellow hard-top Jeep. Caller called back and said person in Jeep is having mechanical problems, and the Jeep is backfiring.
1:09 p.m – Medical: 79-year-old female fell; doesn’t know if injured. Tecumseh and OCA responded. Tecumseh VFD volunteer did a lift assist, and the ambulance was canceled.
3:29 p.m. – Caller in Gainesville said a subject is hitting her and his younger brother. OCSD responded; subject arrested.
6:56 p.m. – Caller said lightning has hit a tree on Highway P-11 off P Highway, and fire is going into the field. Theodosia Area VFD responded.
9:50 p.m. – Traffic stop on County Road 806. OCSD took report.
9:58 p.m. – Medical: 47-year-old female has chest pains and bad headache. OCA and Lick Creek VFD responded. Patient was transported to OMC.
10:12 p.m. – Medical: 67-year-old female has bad infection and is not feeling well. Cox Ambulance responded from Ava.

March 10
12:00 a.m. – Possible underage drinking reported in Bullseye / Subway parking lot. OCSD responded. Checked OK.
10:31 a.m. – Reporting party called to complain that his father is acting out of control and has mental issues and is not taking any medication for it. Reporting party said he was not asking for help but just wanted to make a complaint about the sheriff’s office “not doing your job.” Caller refused to make a written statement, saying he did not want to assist law enforcement and would never help in any way. Reporting party spoke with officer. Unfounded.
10:48 a.m. – Caller said a bald male with tattoos wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans is walking around business on Highway 160 looking like he is casing the place to steal from it. Referred to MSHP, which was closer to business than OCSD. At 11:04 a.m., MSHP officer was out with subject at the business.
11:05 a.m. – Reporting party said he let his brother borrow his car seven months ago and now he wants to know what to do to get it back. The brother is not returning his calls. OCSD advised this is a civil matter.
11:57 a.m. – Theodosia-area caller said a drunk person carrying a baseball bat is walking up and down the road being a nuisance. Subject swung at a white van. OCSD officer spoke to the subject, who said he is going to sleep it off. At 12:41 p.m., the subject was reported walking down the road again. MSHP was going to recheck on him.
12:09 p.m. – Caller said a dark green car with two or three individuals in the vehicle is doing donuts around the Anderson Propane tanks. Handled by OCSD officer.
12:58 p.m. – Subject arrested in Theodosia.
2:57 p.m. – Reporting party said he got a wrong-number call from someone trying to reach someone else, saying person needed his help with an emergency involving a 19-year-old girl across from OCSD.
4:57 p.m. – Rape reported in Gainesville. OCSD took report.
6:24 p.m. – Reporting party in Gainesville said someone has stolen her checks and forged her name on them. OCSD took report.
6:51 p.m. – People are reportedly camping at second low-water bridge on County Road 503. OCSD responded; unable to locate.
7:47 p.m. – Caller said a gray SUV is parked along roadway on County Road 873 off D Highway south. Reporting party called back and said more vehicles are at the location and a possible party is going on. MSHP responded; unable to locate.
8:28 p.m. – Unspecified suspicious incident reported on County Road 806. OCSD rendered assistance.
9:45 p.m. – Reporting party said a subject made threats to her and was running people off the roadway. MSHP rendered assistance.
11:42 p.m. – Traffic stop at Ball Park. OCSD rendered assistance.

March 11
12:32 a.m. – Medical: 97-year-old has increased agitation and is combative. OCA responded; patient was transported to BRMC.
1 a.m. – Caller reported that a subject is “walking around knocking on people’s doors” on Highway 160. OCSD responded; unable to locate.
6:56 a.m. – Caller said someone had stolen his vehicle from the parking lot at Roy’s Store. Officer spoke with reporting party. Damage to nearby fence was seen, and vehicle was found in the field near the store.
11:01 a.m. – Caller said a four-wheeler and dune buggy are racing up and down County Road 119. OCSD rendered assistance.
11:18 a.m. – Reporting party said a male subject was driving through the parking lot of a business last night causing a disturbance. When told that the business manager would be speaking with a deputy in the morning, the subject said, “You haven’t seen nothing yet.” OCSD took report.
12:10 p.m. – Reporting party says her 15-year-old daughter was touched through her clothing by a 17-year-old male, who was also smoking meth in front of a minor child. OCSD took report.
1:18 p.m. – Caller on Mork Lane said her mailbox and several of her neighbors’ mailboxes had been destroyed overnight. OCSD rendered assistance.
2:27 p.m. – Caller on Ocean View reported his mailbox was damaged last night.
7:18 p.m. – Medical: 97-year-old male has dislocated shoulder. OCA responded; patient was transported to BRMC.
8:28 and 8:29 p.m. – Structure fire reported on County Road 301. Caney Mountain VFD responded. Lick Creek, Gainesville and Tecumseh VFDs responded in mutual aid. Red Cross, fire marshal were contacted and OCA also responded.
