July 7
4:38 p.m. – Single-car accident on KK Highway: road sign hit, air bags deployed and no one is around. MSHP rendered assistance.
6:22 p.m. – Medical: 2-year-old child has hit her head on the corner of a picnic table and those with her can’t stop the bleeding. Ozark County Ambulance and Pontiac Price Place VFD responded. Patient transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
8:53 p.m. – Reporting party said horse is out again on KK Highway. OCSD rendered assistance; left message on phone.
9:13 p.m. – Reporting party said someone is burning his dozer decks on County Road 366A after he had put the fires out. OCSD rendered assistance.
9:22 p.m. – DFS asked officer to check on a child at a specified location. OCSD responded; checked OK.
9:29 p.m. – Reporting party is moving out of her home and asks for extra patrol. OCSD rendered assistance.
9:52 p.m. – Caller complained of loud noise and fireworks at Blair Bridge. OCSD rendered assistance; fireworks are being set off on private property.
11:21 p.m. – Medical: blood sugar test needed. OCA responded.
11:33 p.m. – Medical: 53-year-old female fell and has back and hip pain and trouble breathing. OCA responded; patient transported to BRMC.
11:37 p.m. – Fireworks are being shot off in town near square. OCSD responded; unable to locate.
11:49 p.m. – Caller on Sixth Street thinks a bear attacked her dog and property. OCSD rendered assistance.
11:53 p.m. – Prisoner transport to Wright County Jail.

July 8
6:24 a.m. – Caller said a bear was seen in her yard on County Road 803B last night before 8:30 p.m.
9:22 a.m. – Reporting party at Town & Country says a male subject brought in a check for $80 and attempted to cash it. He is known to have been fraudulently cashing a check; clerk declined to cash check today. Wanted it on record.
10:45 a.m. – Medical: 83-year-old female has possible broken hip. Brixey-Rockbridge VFD and OCA responded. Patient was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
12:50 p.m. – Caller said a man with no shirt and wearing a bandana on his head is walking in traffic 3 miles east of Gainesville on Highway 160. Possibly heat exhausted or drunk. Referred to MSHP.
1:56 p.m. – Reporting party says his neighbor has blocked off the reporting party’s easement to his house on County Road 178A. Officer spoke to neighbor and reporting party. Neighbor had been advised by his lawyer.
2:14 p.m. – Reporting party says she was assaulted several times by her boyfriend’s ex-wife and was threatened by her as well. OCSD took report.
2:52 p.m. – Medical: 29-year-old female has bleeding, chest pains, lower back pain and swelling of eyelids. Brixey-Rockbridge VFD and OCA responded.
3:47 p.m. – Medical: 52-year-old male has heat stroke. OCA and Tecumseh VFD repsonded.
4:12 p.m. – Lift assistance needed on Summit Drive. Theodosia Area VFD responded.
5:07 p.m. – Someone was on reporting party’s land at Hardenville. OCSD officer spoke with reporting party on phone.
9:53 p.m. – Three females are on the river, floating near Blair Bridge. It got dark on them, and now they are wanting a helicopter to come get them. MSHP Water Division responded.

July 9
2:32 a.m. – Reporting party said a male is driving around on Buttonwood Drive, yelling at someone down the road. Reporting party believes it is a female. OCSD responded. Unable to locate.
8:52 a.m. – Medical: 62-year-old male has fluid problem. Theodosia Area VFD and OCA responded. Patient transported to Branson.
11:51 a.m. – Reporting party’s van was broken into last night on County Road 803. Officer talked with reporting party on phone.
12:57 p.m. – Two-vehicle accident, no injuries, at Marion County Road 171 and Ozark County Road 655. OCSD rendered assistance.
2:01 p.m. – Reporting party said his and his wife’s autos were gone through on County Road 806. OCSD rendered assistance.
2:18 p.m. – Reporting party said he set his hay field on County Road 629 on fire while he was cutting it. Timber Knob and Pontiac Price Place VFDs responded.
2:46 p.m. – Well-being / security check requested on County Road 103. OCSD responded; checked OK.
3:00 p.m. – Reporting party says she was being harassed while driving west on Highway 160 by a man in a white truck and a man in a red truck who were speeding up, passing her and then slamming on their brakes and trying to run her off the roadway. Referred to MSHP.
3:37 p.m. – Medical: 51-year-old male having possible heart attack. OCA and Air Evac responded. Patient transported to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.
4:27 p.m. – Brush fire reported on County Road 905 three miles north of Highway 160. Theodosia Area and Thornfield VFDs responded. Subject arrested.
4:33 p.m. – Reporting party says someone claiming to be one of her friends on Messenger is attempting to set her up with an IMF Grant. Reporting party says this is a scam. Caller wants it on record for public awareness.
4:53 p.m. – Medical: 46-year-old male is having allergic reaction to catheter. Cox Ambulance responded.
6:11 p.m. – Medical: 70-year-old male has weakness and pain in legs. OCA, Air Evac and Thornfield VFD responded.
6:57 p.m. – Reporting party said he was confronted by the brother of the subject who broke into his house, telling reporting party to drop charges. OCSD officer spoke with reporting party; there was no harassment.
7:04 p.m. – Medical: 68-year-old female fell earlier and has soreness on forehead and possible trauma. Brixey-Rockbridge VFD, OCA and Cox Air Ambulance responded.
8:09 p.m. – Reporting party says a door is open to the residence on Up Hill Drive, and no one is supposed to be there.
8:28 p.m. – Reporting party on County Road 803 says her vehicle has been gone through. Nothing is stolen, but things were left open and lying about. Wanted it on record.
10:14 p.m. – Careless and imprudent driver reported eastbound on Highway 160 from Highway 5 south. White car, unable to maintain lanes. Referred to MSHP.
10:44 p.m. – Medical: 74-year-old male with low blood sugar. Gainesville VFD and OCA responded.
10:47 p.m. – Reporting party Highway 5 south says her daughter and boyfriend are in verbal argument. Reporting party says neighbors are harassing her, trying to get everyone to fight. OCSD responded; 12-hour rule instated.

July 10
6:17 a.m.  – A person is lying in the grass at the end of Lick Creek Bridge on J Highway. OCSD rendered assistance.
10:34 a.m. – Prisoner transport: Jennifer Winters, Michael Smith and Aaron White on writ from Douglas County.
11:12 a.m. – Caller just up from sheriff’s office said someone egged all his vehicles last night. Wanted it on record.
11:23 p.m. – Towed vehicle: Black Chevy Silverado with flat belonging to Jeff Anderson on square in front of Bryant’s. Ron’s Recovery called.
1:19 p.m. – Medical: 81-year-old female is running a high temperature. Theodosia Area VFD and OCA responded. Patient transported to BRMC.
1:21 p.m. – Someone is stealing from a place on County Road 618. OCSD rendered assistance.
5:19 p.m. – A man is coming out of the woods and flagging down cars at Highway 160 and County Road 817. OCSD rendered assistance.
5:50 p.m. – Camper on Highway 5 south was ransacked. OCSD rendered assistance.
7:23 p.m. – Caller reported trash dumped on County Road 515. OCSD rendered assistance.
8:50 p.m. – Caller reported black bear on her porch on County Road 803A. MDC rendered assistance.

July 11
5:15 a.m. – Reporting party’s son hit a deer in his vehicle on Highway 5 north at County Road 114. He was parking the vehicle off the roadway to move the deer off the road when a second vehicle ran into the first vehicle. Referred to MSHP for report. Jim’s Body Shop in route from Ava.
6:02 a.m. – Reporting party on Evelyn Lane says he and his nephew are having a verbal disturbance. The nephew called in and said his uncle hit him in the head with something metal.  Officer spoke with all parties. Reporting party has been asked to leave the premises. Parties agreed to act like adults. Twelve-hour rule was instated.
10:28 a.m. – Prisoner transport: Michael Smith and Aaron White back from writ, Douglas County.
11:26 a.m. – Reporting party in Dora needs to report missing WIC checks. Wanted it on record.
11:37 a.m. – Person was asked to leave the Antler, per owner, and was refusing. OCSD rendered assistance.
11:53 a.m. – Caller reported campers in tents in the woods between end of Choctaw Drive and Hummin. OCSD rendered assistance.
12:26 p.m. – Hilltop storage units have been vandalized with spray paint. OCSD rendered assistance.
12:38 p.m. – Two-vehicle accident on Highway 160 west of Duke’s Towing. Unknown injuires. MSHP, Tecumseh VFD, Bakersfield VFD and OCA responded. Ambulance was canceled.
1:54 p.m. – Medical: 41-year-old male cut finger with table saw. OCA responded. Patient transported to OMC.
1:58 p.m. – Reporting party on Z Highway said her soon-to-be-ex-husband forged $1,010 in checks in her name. OCSD rendered assistance.
3:05 p.m. – Brush fire reported on County Road 905. Theodosia Area VFD responded.
6:46 p.m. – Caller on County Road 903 said something was poured in the gas tank of his 1974 C65 Chevy. Handled by officer; reporting party took fuel samples.
7:01 p.m. – Caller on County Road 803 has bear on her porch again. OCSD responded. Bear went into woods before officer arrived.
7:33 p.m. – Female inmate has fallen at OCSD. OCA responded.
11:09 p.m. – Brush fire has rekindled on County Road 905. Fire department said this was not a brush fire but rather a vehicle fire in the truck that was parked when the original fire started there two days ago. Subject called later and said someone attempted to set house on fire. There was a gas can on the floor, and a spot where a fire had burned out.

July 12
5:02 a.m. – Prisoner transport: John Snelson to St. Louis and Stephen Shaw and Charles Cole to Fulton.
8:47 a.m. – Stolen items reported on Air Strip Lane. Report taken.
 8:52 a.m. – Single-vehicle accident on KK Highway. Pottersville VFD and MSHP responded. Howell County 911 called and said one person had shoulder injury and one had head injury. OCA responded.
9:01 a.m. – Caller said copper and AC units were stolen on Stone Mountain Road. OCSD took report.
9:21 a.m. – Medical: elderly man fell, hitting head at Cash Saver Pantry. Theodosia Area VFD and Cox Ambulance from Ava responded.
10:13 a.m. – Well-being / security check on Runway Loop. Officer spoke with all parties involved. Everything is fine.
10:35 a.m. – Medical: 75-year-old female needs to go to Springfield hospital. Thornfield VFD and Cox Ambulance from Ava responded. Patient transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
10:45 a.m. – Medical: 66-year-old male has shortness of breath. Lick Creek VFD and OCA responded. Patient transported to OMC.
11:30 a.m. – Someone sideswiped reporting party’s motorhome on Highway 160 and took off. No injuries. Contacted MSHP. The subject who did the hit-and-run came into the sheriff’s office.
12:16 p.m. – Fraud: Gainesville caller reported a scam IRS call. Wanted it on record.
12:53 p.m. – Brown-and-white horse is out on Highway 160 two miles from Taney County line. OCSD rendered assistance.
1:59 p.m. – Reporting party on HH Highway at Spring Creek said someone made verbal threats, trying to get reporting party to fight her. Just wanted it on record.
4:55 p.m. – The break room door’s security alarm is activated at Ozark Vinyl. OCSD responded; checked OK.
5:15 p.m. – Caller on County Road 308 said a subject ran her granddaughter off the road. No vehicle damage; caller wanted it on record.
5:20 p.m. – Medical: 60-year-old male has chest pain. Timber Knob VFD and OCA responded.
7:44 p.m. – Medical: 86-year-old male has high fever and is dehydrated. OCA and Timber Knob VFD responded.
9:41 p.m. – Someone is tearing up County Road 902 by reporting party’s residence. Handled by OCSD officer.
10:47 p.m. – Caller on County Road 545 said a subject is driving her truck with no tags or insurance. MSHP rendered assistance.
11:09 p.m. – Reporting party on Kyle Drive believes someone tried to break in his front door and then went to the back door. Unsure if anyone is still around. OCSD rendered assistance.
11:34 p.m. – Careless and imprudent driver in white Ford Explorer reported on Highway 160. OCSD rendered assistance.

July 13
12:33 a.m. – Caller said a 1994 red Ranger boat was stolen from a trailer hooked to truck at Spring Creek on HH Highway. OCSD rendered assistance.
9:51 a.m. and 10:13 a.m. – Two-vehicle accident: red truck vs. maroon car on Highway 160 a mile east of Miller Store; one head injury and unknown other injuries. Lick Creek VFD, MSHP and OCA responded. Patient transported to BRMC.
10:46 a.m. – Department of Corrections card found at Pontiac Cove Marina. OCSD rendered assistance; Probation & Parole contacted.
2:49 p.m. – Truck ran off road into brush on Highway 160 at Tecumseh curves. No injuries. Tecumseh VFD, Bakersfield VFD, MSHP were contacted.
4:27 p.m. – Reporting party had his wallet stolen in West Plains. Bank notified him of activity on his credit card; someone had used it at Dollar General. Handled by OCSD officer.
4:33 and 5:12 p.m. – Medical: 52-year-old female and 54-year-old male have heat stroke, and the female has chest pain. OCA and Theodosia Area VFD responded, with Taney County responding in mutual aid for second patient.
6:46 p.m. – Medical: 66-year-old male has chest pain. Dora VFD and OCA responded. Patient transported.
9:04 p.m. – Reporting party and her husband are fighting on Cedar Oak Drive. OCSD took report.
10:03 p.m. – Medical: 30-year-old female has chest pain and blurry vision. Gainesville VFD and OCA responded. Patient transported to BRMC.
8:10 p.m. – Drunk driver reported in black/silver Chevy in Gainesville. OCSD responded; unable to locate.

July 14
12:23 a.m. – Medical: 29-year-old female has left-side pain. OCA responded. Patient transported to BRMC.
9:03 a.m. – Medical: 82-year-old female has fallen and has leg pain. OCA and Timber Knob VFD responded. Patient transported to BRMC.
9:29 a.m. – Medical: 40-something female fell and has shoulder pain. Gainesville VFDwas toned but no first responder available. Timber Knob VFD and Cox Ambulance from Ava responded. Patient transported to BRMC.
10:09 a.m. – Reporting party lost a brown men’s bifold wallet near Gaines-ville Ag Supply. Wanted it on record in case it’s found.
1:27 p.m. – Brown horse wearing a halter is near roadway on KK Highway. OCSD attempted to contact animal owner. Officer spoke with owner about this horse, which is out frequently.
1:41 p.m. – Medical: Male having possible allergic reaction. OCA responded. Theodosia Area was toned but no response.
4:14 p.m. – Reporting party said he was involved in a physical assault on County Road 536. Handled by OCSD officer.
5:26 p.m. – Horse is out again on KK Highway. MSHP rendered assistance.
5:55 p.m. – Traffic stop on Highway 160 west. OCSD took report.
7:38 p.m. – Caller reported violation of ex parte / full order. Reporting party said her ex will not return children. Handled by OCSD officer.
7:43 p.m. – Medical: 14-year-old female has chest pain and trouble breathing. Lick Creek VFD and OCA responded.
8:22 p.m. – OCSD aided another agency in Gainesville.
10:49 p.m. – Traffic stop at Highways 160 and PP. Handled by OCSD officer.

July 15
12:34 a.m. – Disturbance on HH Highway. Thirteen-year-old female won’t go inside and keeps running down the road away from reporting party. OCSD rendered assistance.
12:41 a.m. – OCSD aided MSHP at Highways 5 north and 95 south.
5:56 a.m. – Boat on trailer is on fire in middle of County Road 848. Thorn-field VFD, OCSD and Sam’s Towing were contacted.
7:26 a.m. – Caller said a dark burnt-orange Dodge truck has been coming to the creek every day on County Road 503. The reporting party’s husband found a man and woman sleeping in the truck today, and they said they had run out of gas. Reporting party wanted it on record.
7:33 a.m. – Black cow with green tag is out on P Highway. OCSD contacted animal owner.
7:33 a.m. – Black cows are out on Highway 95 south. OCSD contacted possible animal owner.
9:53 a.m. – Brush fire reported on County Road 957. Thornfield VFD was contacted; fire department believes it’s a controlled burn.
1:13 p.m. – Female inmates are fighting at sheriff’s department. Handled by officer; inmate moved to holding.
2:13 p.m. – Medical: 86-year-old male is cold and has pain in elbow. Pontiac Price Place VFD and OCA responded. Patient transported to BRMC.
4:18 p.m. – Caller said water is bubbling up in his yard and running down County Road 806. OCSD left messages on both city workers’ cell phones.
6:42 p.m. – A dark-colored car is stopped in middle of Highway 160 east and people are fighting. OCSD responded; gone on arrival.
9:24 p.m. – Traffic stop, Highway 160 at a county road. OCSD rendered assistance.
9:31 p.m. – Medical: 79-year-old female has been attacked by a raccoon and has lots of bleeding on her hands. Tecumseh VFD and OCA responded.
10:14 p.m. – Car is stopped alongside Highway 160 at Tecumseh curves. OCSD rendered assistance.
10:26 p.m. – Vehicle accident with property damage but no injuries on Tecumseh curves. MSHP rendered assistance.

July 16
12:45 a.m. – Medical: 91-year-old female has fallen and has possible hip fracture. OCA responded. Patient transported to BRMC.
7:05 a.m. – Entry and motion security alarm activated on Nash Lane. OCSD contacted owner; everything is fine.
