Feb. 19 (continued from last week’s Times)
9:42 a.m. – White cows out on Highway 95 across from Thornfield School. OCSD rendered assistance. Contacted possible animal owner.
10:35 a.m. – Well-being / security check requested on County Road 513. OCSD responded; unable to locate. Neighbors reported they saw the person walk to car earlier.
11:04 a.m. – Prisoner transport to doctor’s appointment.
11:29 a.m. – Gainesville resident reported threats. OCSD rendered assistance; officer spoke with person on phone.
12:55 p.m. – Reporting party found a heifer and bull in his pasture; he is waiting for animal owner to call. Wanted it on record in case owner calls. At 5:33 p.m. the reporting party called back and said he had contacted owner.
2:21 p.m. – Subject reported trespassing. OCSD rendered assistance. Subject left area.
3:06 p.m. – Medical: 35/36-year-old male is having possible heart attack. OCSD rendered assistance; Air Evac responding.
4:16 p.m. – Reporting party said two dogs have attacked a cow on Z Highway, chewing its ears off and biting it all over. OCSD rendered assistance.
9:18 p.m. – Caller on Highway 181 said neighbor’s pitbull is in his yard, growling and acting aggressively. OCSD rendered assistance.
11:31 p.m. – Caller reported a careless and imprudent driver eastbound on Highway 160 in a white Chevy work van that is all over the road. OCSD rendered assistance.

Feb. 20
7:46 a.m. – Black cow is out at FF Highway near Zanoni Mill. OCSD rendered assistance. Cattle owner contacted; they are on their way.
12:10 p.m. – Reporting party on Highway 160 said her husband had pointed a gun at her. She ran out of house to her mother-in-law’s to place call. Husband took their child and left, driving white Ford F-150. OCSD responded. Subject arrested.
1:29 p.m. – Vehicle has been sitting on right-of-way on Highway 95 for two or three days. License plates on it expired in 2017. Sam’s Towing dispatched.
2:48 p.m. – Caller on County Road 122 said neighbor is threatening to shoot his dog . OCSD officer spoke with reporting party on phone.
6:36 p.m. – Caller on County Road 310 said a suspicious person was sitting in the dark, waiting for someone to come home. He drove off after seeing the reporting party’s wife drive up. OCSD rendered assistance. Offer spoke to reporting party on phone.
7:11 p.m. – Stranded motorist in red car is in middle of Highway 5 north just south of Highway 95 south. Wasola VFD, MSHP contacted.
8:12 p.m. – Physical domestic disturbance reported on 14th Ave. in Christian County. Passed all information to Christian County 911.
10:06 p.m. – Water reported over low-water bridge in Gainesville, with trees going over the bridge. OCSD and Gainesville Fire responded.

Feb. 21
1:46 a.m. – Bridge closed due to high water on T Highway at Mammoth.Timber Knob VFRD responded; also referred to MoDOT.
2:23 a.m. – Reporting party on County Road 536 wants her son removed from the home. OCSD responded. Subject arrested and transported to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.
6:05 a.m. - Reporting party hit deer on Highway 160 near Gainesville Elementary School, causing damage to front bumper, license plate, driver’s side light on 2006 Jeep Liberty. No injuries and vehicle is not blocking roadway.  Driver is taking meat. Wanted it on record for insurance.
8:05 a.m. – Medical: 68-year-old male having possible heart attack. Ozark County Ambulance and Tecumseh VFD responded. Patient was transported to OMC.
10:14 a.m. – Reporting party’s sister and her daughter got in a fight this morning. Reporting party found her sister’s truck at lake down HH Highway, and neighbor saw sister drive by in her vehicle. They have been calling for the sister but have not located her yet. OCSD rendered assistance. Sister was found.
11:45 a.m. – Rear door alarm activated at Town & Country Supermarket. Assistance rendered; everything is OK.
12:48 p.m. – Caller said neighbor’s cattle are out on his land constantly. Handled by OCSD officer, who talked with reporting party on the phone.
1:12 p.m. – Unspecified call.  OCSD rendered assistance.
3:00 p.m. – Assault: female was hit on County Road 342. OCSD rendered assistance.
4:22 p.m. – Lost dog on AA Highway: 2-year-old Pyrenees. Wanted it on record in case it’s found.
8:56 p.m. – Security alarm activated at First Christian Church. OCSD responded. Checked OK.

Feb. 22
4:38 a.m. – Reporting party on County Road 536 said her son has gone crazy and has hit her car with his truck. OCSD responded; subject arrested.
6:05 a.m. – Tree is across road on KK Highway 1 mile west of county line near Devil’s Backbone access.
7:16 a.m. – Medical: 78-year-old male having possible heart attack. OCA, Pontiac Price Place VFD responded. Patient transported.
8:42 a.m. – Reporting party said someone had cut his fence on East Tower Road. Reporting party talked to officer in OCSD lobby.
9:59 a.m. – Black steer is out on roadway on O Highway. OCSD rendered assistance, tried to contact possible owner but did not make contact.
11 a.m. – Medical: 85-year-old is sick. OCA and Theodosia Area VFD responded. Patient was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
12:07 p.m. – Reporting party said two dogs on County Road 117, visible from Highway 5, are tied up, standing in water and  are starving death. Handled by officer.
2:16 p.m. – Caller on County Road 903 found a black dog, looks like a Labrador, with a big leather collar on.  
 2:26 p.m. – Humane Society called about a horse in Thornfield. Handled by OCSD officer.
4:24 p.m. – Vehicle accident: reporting party ran through a fence on County Road 310. MSHP responded.
5:38 p.m. – Reporting party said a deer ran into his 2018 Chevy truck on Highway 160, causing mirror and body damage. Needed it on record for insurance.
7:27 p.m. – Medical: 37-year-old female is in labor. OCA responded; transported to BRMC.
8:02 p.m. – 96-hour mental evaluation ordered; person transported to OMC.

Feb. 23
8:24 p.m. – Medical: Person is not responsive, barely breathing. OCA responded. Patient transported to BRMC.
10:54 a.m. – Threats reported at Bakersfield School. OCSD rendered assistance.
11:01 p.m. – Domestic disturbance on County Road 850. Reporting party asked to speak to officer.
11:29 p.m. – Caller reported a silver car in drive on Evelyn Lane, and no one should be at that house. OCSD rendered assistance.
1:43 p.m. – Reporting party on Highway 160 said trash from nearby duplex is blowing into his yard. OCSD rendered assistance.
2:22 p.m. – Fire alarm activated in Dora High School gym. OCSD and Dora VFD responded. At 2:25, the alarm company said it was an accidental trigger but said not to cancel. At 4:27 principal canceled call.
2:59 p.m. – Medical: 76-year-old male unresponsive. Pontiac VFD and OCA responded.
4:40 p.m. – Medical: man is lying in the ditch alongside Highway 160. OCA, Tecumseh VFD and Lick Creek VFD responded.
7:54 p.m. – Medical: 83-year-old female has chest pains. OCA responded; patient was transported to OMC.
9:29 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle parked at site on D Highway. Wanted it on record.
9:32 p.m.  – Caller said someone is letting the air out of her tires at Harlin Heights. Wanted it on record.

Feb. 24
4:05 a.m. – Caller said a dark-colored truck is partially in the roadway on J Highway north of Lick Creek Bridge. Unsure if anyone is in or around the vehicle. OCSD responded. Gone on arrival. Lick Creek VFD reported that someone had called saying it was a disabled vehicle.
10:54 a.m. – Well-being / security check requested on child. OCSD rendered assistance, but made no contact; no one was home.
11:46 a.m. – Vehicle stop north of V Highway. OCSD rendered assistance.
1:26 p.m. – Caller said she was contacted by someone who said she would be arrested in regards to tax fraud if she did not call another number immediately. Caller was advised this is a scam. The return phone numbers change multiple times a day and are untraceable.
3:27 p.m. – Caller is concerned about low-water slab near Highways J and T toward Mammoth. Dispatch also received several calls about water running over Highway 160 on the Tecumseh curves. Left message with MoDOT.
3:48 p.m. – Caller in Gainesville said he and his wife are getting threats from other family members.  OCSD rendered assistance.
5:09 p.m. – Caller said the cement slab on County Road 133 has shifted due to the rainfall. OCSD rendered assistance; notified county road and bridge department.
6:10 p.m. – Reporting party had verbal altercation with female who used to babysit his children. OCSD rendered assistance.
7:10 p.m. – Medical: 75-year-old female is having trouble breathing. Cox Ambulance responded because bridges are out in the area.
8:46 p.m. – Deceased 67-year-old female on County Road 585. Bakersfield VFD and coroner responded.

Feb. 25
3:02 a.m. – A 15-year-old male took the family truck and tried to run away but ran off the road and popped a tire. OCSD rendered assistance; transported juvenile. Ron’s Recovery dispatched.
4:46 a.m. – Reporting party said carbon monoxide detector keeps beeping, just one time every few minutes. Unsure if it is dying. OCSD contacted Lick Creek VFD chief, who said he would talk to the reporting party and try to figure out the problem.
9:45 a.m. – Abandoned vehicle: caller says a Ford truck is blocking the roadway on County Road 950 just north of Foil store, and an S-10 truck is in the creek. Referred to MSHP.
10:12 a.m.– Caller said a deer has been hit on Highway 160 at Mule Barn Lane and is on roadside and needs to be put down. OCSD rendered assistance.
12:36 p.m. – Reporting party said a gun has been stolen from his home on County Road 806. Report taken.
1:06 p.m. – Medical: 53-year-old male has shoulder pain. OCA responded. Patient transported to OMC.
9:16 p.m. – Suspicious incident at Bakersfield location. OCSD rendered assistance. No one home.

Feb. 26
7:39 a.m. –Motion alarm activated on court square. Canceled by central dispatch.
