Saddle club presents awards

Savannah Bushner was awarded the 2018 overall high point trophy for Gainesville Saddle Club’s fun show series. The trophy was presented at the club’s year-end award banquet  Jan. 12 at The Meeting Place on Third Street in Gainesville. 

To qualify for the award, Gainesville Saddle Club members had to have attended four of the six fun shows and worked 10 hours at rodeos, fun shows or other saddle club events. 

These other winners were recognized at the banquet:

10 and under division:

First place, Gracie Welch;

Second place, Josiah Faust;

Third place, Brantley Nash;

Fourth place, Jackson Warden;

Fifth place, Hadley Warden. 

Teens, 11- to 17-year-olds:

First place, Savannah Bushner;

Second place, Brianna Welch;

Third place, Attarah Faust;

Fourth place, Cianna Faust.

Adult class:

First place, Dave Bushner;

Second place, Heather Bushner;

Third place, Debbie Depriest;

Fourth place, Robin Deck;

Fifth place, Kerrie Zubrod.
