New trooper: Sean D. Goostree

Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper Sean D. Goostree is one of two new troopers assigned to Troop G, which includes Ozark County. Goostree has been assigned to Zone 10, northern Howell and Shannon counties.  He is a native of Rocky Comfort and a graduate of Wheaton High School in Wheaton. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin and was a member of the 105th MSHP recruit class, which began training on Jan. 8 and graduated on June 29. He will report for duty on July 16. Prior to joining MSHP, he was employed by the 3M corporation in Nevada, Missouri.
