New bakery opens in Theodosia
Country Apron Bakery invites residents to its grand opening July 3-4 at its shop on Highway 160 in Theodosia. The little bakery specializes in cupcakes, cookies and artisan breads and also offers pies, cinnamon rolls, brownies, hot coffee and other items, including homemade soups for lunch. Salads will be added soon, says owners Mike and Gretchen Hatcher, who also own the Inside Out Fitness Studio next door to the bakery. Profits from the business will go to Briar Creek, a retreat for pastors and missionaries the Hatchers operate west of Theodosia.
