MoDOT awards contracts for upcoming projects
The Missouri Department of Transportation’s South-east District awarded contracts for three Ozark County projects during its March 4 electronic ballot process.
A $6,975,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company for pavement improvements on nine state highways, including two Ozark County projects: Highway 142 from Highway 101 to E Highway near Bakersfield, and J High-way from Highway 160 to the Arkansas state line.
A $1,481,740 contract was awarded to Phillips Hardy, Inc., for the replacement of the Lick Creek Bridge on J Highway. The bridge replacement is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
