Sixteen knitters or knitters-to-be gathered Sept. 4 at the Ozark County Historium for the first meeting of the Historium Knitters group. Historium volunteer Janet Taber said the participants enjoyed “sitting down together, needles and yarn in hand, to talk about knitting, share our projects and teach the new ones.” The group’s next meeting is Sept. 18, and anyone interested in knitting or learning to knit is invited. The session starts at 9:30 a.m. (30 minutes before the Historium’s regular 10 a.m. opening time). For more information, contact Taber at 417-265-3372; firstname.lastname@example.org.
