Justin Goins graduated Aug. 3 from Army basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia, with Alpha Company, 1-46 Infantry Regiment, 194th BDE. Goins, a 2018 graduate of Gainesville High School, is the son of Dede Goins of Gainesville and Tom and Dee Goins of Bakersfield, California.
