Farm Bureau Insurance office collects, donates food to The Center

The Missouri Farm Bureau Insurance office in Gainesville recently teamed up with the Feed Missouri project to help collect food that was donated locally to The Center here. The office, at 260 N. Main St. in Gainesville, collected 237.33 pounds of food that was donated, according to a news release shared by local agent Lowell Strong.
For the third consecutive year, Missouri Farm Bureau Insurance producers and customer service representatives statewide collected donations throughout April and May at their local offices. Donations were locally distributed to Feeding Missouri’s partner agencies. The statewide food drive collected 31,891 pounds  – 15.9 tons  – of non-perishable food as well as $6,049 in donations to support
