Eastern Star presents gift to Ozark County Sheriff’s Department
Theodosia chapter #130 Order of the Eastern Star on Oct. 30 presented a Masonic Home of Missouri check for $300 to the Ozark County Sheriff’s Department for use in purchasing winter clothing for children in need within Ozark County. Through its “Creating a Partnership” program, the Masonic Home of Missouri provides matching funds from local Eastern Star chapters for certain benevolent initiatives related to the well-being of children. Ozark County Sheriff Darrin Reed was also present but is not pictured. Janice Arnett will be installed as worthy matron of Theodosia chapter #130 OES at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at Sampson Masonic Lodge on Highway 160 in Theodosia. The ceremony is open to the public. Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Eastern Star, or those who want to learn more about the order, are invited to attend.
