Caulfield resident hospitalized after sport bike-minivan collision

Billy DeLuna, 19, of Caulfield was moderately injured at 8:55 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, in Howell County when a minivan pulled into his path while he was driving a Suzuki sport bike.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report, DeLuna was traveling southbound on Howell County’s FF Highway about 3 miles southwest of South Fork on a 2013 Suzuki FSX/R sport bike when a 2011 Dodge Caravan driven by 64-year-old Caulfield resident Donna Gulley pulled into the bike’s path. DeLuna was moderately injured and was transported to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains by South Howell County Ambulance, according to the report.

Gulley was wearing a seatbelt, and DeLuna was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, the report says. The Caravan sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene. The sport bike, a total loss, was towed from the scene.
