23 donors participate in recent blood drive

A total of 23 donors participated and 21 units of blood were collected during the June 6 American Red Cross blood drive in Gainesville.
These donors participated: Ned Upton, Diane White, Elda Edwards, Dennis Watson, Kenneth Ablan, Virginia Beckham, Edmund Beckham, Pam McGinnis, Tom Bentele, Robert Edwards, Michele Johnson, Norman Story, John Jacobs, Robert Main, Kjirstin Phelan, Denis Crisp, Robert Robbins, Tracey Amyx, Jack Strong, Keith Jacdquin, Sandra Her, Karen Jeziorski and Dawn Joslin.
Volunteers included Diane White, Pam McGinnis, Sandra Funk, June St. Laurent, Carol Mosselle, Pauline Klamerur and Bob Robbins. Theodosia United Methodist Church operated the canteen. Organizers expressed thanks to Town & Country supermarket and First Baptist Church.
The next blood drive will be held Aug. 8 at the Baptist Church in Gainesville. The canteen will be provided by St. William’s Catholic Church, coordinated by Aileen Cochrane.
