14 donors participate in recent blood drive

A total of 14 donors participated and 14 units of blood were collected during the Dec. 13 American Red Cross blood drive. Donors included Ned Upton, Patty Wright, Charlotte Barr, Diane White, Joe Easterday, Jim Gynn, Robert Edwards, Edmund Beckham, Dennis Lawson, Bob Main, Danny Walker, Jack Strong, Bob Robbins, Merle Scott.  Volunteers included Diane White, Carol Cooper, Pam McGinnis, Sandra Funk and Bob Robbins. 

Organizers expressed thanks to the First Baptist Church, Town & Country Supermarket and the First Christian Church for supporting the blood drive. 

The next American Red Cross blood drive at Gainesville’s First Baptist Church will be held Feb. 7, 2018. The canteen will be provided by Lilly Ridge Baptist Church, coordinated by Ina Friend.
