Clarification

The Theodosia Area Volunteer Fire Department asked us to clarify that the scholarship awarded this year in memory of junior TAVFD firefighter Savannah Leckie was a one-time award that will not be given again. The department expressed thanks to those who made donations so that the scholarship could be given this year in Savannah’s memory. As reported in the May 23 edition of the Times, the scholarship was awarded to Gainesville graduating senior Martha Wood.
