Cassidy Johnson honored in Missouri Sports Hall of Fame

Cassidy Johnson was honored Sunday, Jan. 28, by the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame with one of 110 Special Achievement Awards presented to Missouri athletes who earned first team All-American honors in 2017. Cassidy, a junior at College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, was recognized for earning first team All-American honors from the National Christian College Athletics Association for her performance with the C of O women’s basketball team, where she averaged a team-best 14.4 points last season and this season was recognized for scoring her 1,000 college career point.. Cassidy is the daughter of Brian and Shelly Johnson of West Plains and the granddaughter of Pam McGinnis of Gainesville and James and Sherry Johnson and Randy and Kelly McGinnis, all of West Plains.
