GHS senior receives Savannah Leckie Memorial Scholarship

Theodosia Area Volunteer Fire Department has awarded its first Savannah Leckie Memorial Scholarship to Martha J. Wood, a senior graduating this year from Gainesville High School. TAVFD expressed thanks to all who donated to the fund, which was established last year in memory of the 16-year-old junior firefighter who moved to Ozark County in 2016 and who died here in July 2017. This year’s $300 scholarship is to be used for tuition or any other school-related expenses.
