Big Bob's fishing report: Dec. 6, 2017

Crappie fishing on both lakes is as good as ever. S&M chrome-head jigs, live minnows and swimming minnows are all working. It has been a long time since so many limits have come off both lakes. Saturday I watched a man catch big crappie on a jerkbait around standing timber. Some exceptionally big crappie have been coming out of Bull Shoals with several over 3 pounds.

Bass fishing is not bad either. Crank baits, jigs, Bama rigs and tubes have all been producing. Your best luck will be on the main lake as water temperatures are still much warmer than usual. As this week’s cold front comes in, the jig will be the bait of choice, and you will want to fish the banks that have the sun on them. Docks have been productive and should remain that way into the winter.

Lots of new products are in stock and we have lots of Christmas specials. Stop in, and we will show you some of the new products.
