Christmas carol sing-along, holiday bake at BRMC

The Mruk Family Education Center on Aging, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, will host a Christmas carol sing-along from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, in the Baxter Regional Medical Center Lagerborg Dining Room.

The event is being promoted as “a free, fun time of refreshments, fellowship and traditional Christmas Carols led by Terre Ware.”

Also, the annual MFECOA holiday bake sale will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11 (or until the baked goods sell out) in the BRMC cafeteria dining room. This year’s sale will feature homemade holiday cheesecakes, fudge, coconut pound cake, rum cakes and more. All bake sale proceeds go to support programs and services of the MFECOA for seniors adults in the community.

To pre-order a rum cake or for more information, call the MFECOA at 870-508-3880 or email Diahanne VanGulick, MFECOA coordinator, at evangulick@baxterregional.org.
