Businesses, government offices close Wednesday for July 4
Government offices and many businesses, including banks and post offices, will be closed Tuesday, July 4, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday. The Gainesville license office, the Ozark County Volunteer Library, Ozark County Health Department and The Center will also be closed Wednesday for the holiday.
The July food pantry distribution dates will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 5, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 11.
Because the holiday falls on Wednesday, which is the Ozark County Times’ normal publication day, deadlines are being moved up a day in order to get the paper mailed out to readers on Tuesday. The deadline for news stories is 4 p.m. Friday, June 29. The deadline for advertising is 4 p.m. Thursday, June 28.
