July 21

6:49 p.m. – Reporting party said a boat trailer rolled off, hitting his vehicle, causing minor damage. Subject is giving reporting party all insurance info. 

7:35 p.m. – Reporting party said a subject was at her residence off County Road 557 and finally left. Wanted it on record.

10:14 p.m. – Search warrant executed on County Road 188. 

11:57 p.m. – Mother and daughter are fighting in front of Bullseye. OCSD instituted 12-hour rule.

 

July 22

1:31 a.m. – Caller hit a 6-point buck with his vehicle on A Highway and is taking the meat. OCSD rendered assistance. 

5:37 a.m. –Security alarm activated at Outpost Liquor. OCSD responded. Checked OK.

6:21 a.m. – Medical: 94-year-old female’s Life Alert activated. Gainesville Volunteer Fire Department, Ozark County Ambulance responded. 

8:32 a.m. – Cow beside roadway on Highway 160 west at Kingdom Hall. OCSD contacted animal owner.

9 a.m. – Medical: unknown-age female is in labor. OCA responded. Baby was delivered at or around 9:13 a.m. Patient was transported to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.

1:05 p.m. – White cow is out at Highway 5 south near Head Start. OCSD contacted animal owner.

2:08 p.m. – Medical: 70-year-old male has back injury. Lick Creek VFD, OCA responded. Patient was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

7:10 p.m. – Camper-trailer is on fire at O Highway and County Road 571, and another one might be in danger. Bakersfield VFD responded and Howell/Oregon is in route, as well as Tecumseh VFD in mutual aid. Fire marshal was requested at 7:12 p.m. 

7:47 p.m. – Medical: male of unknown age has chest pains. OCA responded. Patient transported to OMC.

8:31 p.m. – Reporting party is driving down county road at Caulfield on a side-by-side, and dogs are biting at them. Handled by OCSD officer, who spoke with both parties involved.

9:16 p.m. – Truck with bright lights is parked on low-water bridge on County Road 514-527. OCSD responded; unable to located.

 

July 23

1:06 a.m. – Reporting party thinks her son is on drugs. OCSD rendered assistance.

6:01 a.m. – Medical: 57-year-old female has fast heartbeat. OCA and Air Evac were dispatched. Air Evac was canceled at 6:21 a.m. OCA transported patient to OMC.

7:34 a.m. – Lift assistance needed on Farris Lane. Timber Knob VFD responded.

8:33 a.m. – Reporting party said his trailer tag was missing when he came back to trailer at Blair Bridge access. OCSD rendered assistance, entered number into MULES as stolen.

9:07 a.m. – Lift assistance needed, Harlin Heights. Gainesville VFD responded.

9:22 a.m. – Reporting party reported broken tractor window on H Highway. Handled by OCSD officer.

10:21 a.m. – Medical: 60-year-old male is throwing up. OCA and Lick Creek VFD responded.

11:52 a.m. – Caller said ex-husband is coming to pick up children and has made threats to reporting party. Handled by OCSD officer.

2:53 p.m. – Medical: Person is running a fever and wants to go to OMC. OCA responded. Patient was transported to OMC.

3:58 p.m. – OCSD assisted juvenile officer at Bullseye.

5:37 p.m. – Medical: 78-year-old female has possible broken leg. OCA and Brixey-Rockbridge VFD responded. Patient was transported to OMC.

5:52 p.m. – Reporting party said her ex-boyfriend came in to her house and started pilfering through her personal belonging, saying he was attempting to get his personal item. Reporting party repeatedly told him to leave, but he refused. Once reporting party was on the phone calling 911, the male subject left. She said he did not take anything or destroy anything but she wanted it on record in case he came back.

5:57 p.m. – Reporting party said several people were at her house, and a window at her house on County Road 817 was broken. Wanted it on record unless the subjects return.

6:29 p.m. – Reporting party says a silver SUV with red, white and blue tag on Highway 160 eastbound from Theodosia is all over the road and is unable to maintain lanes or speed.

6:40 p.m. – Reporting party says a brindle-colored pit bull has been coming into her yard on Highway 181 attacking her little dogs. She wants it on record. OCSD rendered assistance. Officer told her to call OCSD if dog comes back into her yard.

7:37 p.m. – Reporting party says he has found his friend deceased on County Road 821. Coroner was contacted. Death notification was delivered to next of kin in Mountain Home by Baxter County Sheriff’s Department.

9:02 p.m. – Medical: elderly female has blood in feeding tube. OCA and Caulfield VFD responded. Patient transported to OMC.

11:35 p.m. – Traffic stop, electric co-op. Assistance rendered.

 

July 24

6:45 a.m. – Dead deer is in road, blocking lane on Highway 160 near Strong Drive. OCSD rendered assistance.

7:42 a.m. – Reddish gray female mule reported lost in Tecumseh area. Wanted it on record in case it’s found.

9:11 a.m. – List assistance needed for elderly female. Caulfield VFD was toned out but didn’t respond. Tecumseh VFD responded in mutual aid.

11:15 a.m. – Medical: elderly man needs to be checked out. Gainesville VFD and OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.

1:48 p.m. – Two units broken into at storage units on Highway 101. OCSD took report.

2:49 p.m. – Medical: 60-year-old female wants to go to hospital. OCA and Bakersfield VFD responded. Patient transported to OMC.

8:38 p.m. – OCSD assisted MSHP in pursuit of a vehicle eastbound on Highway 160 east of High School Drive. MSHP got vehicle stopped at County Road 513.

 

July 25

12:37 a.m. – Alarm activated on Highway 5. OCSD checked; all doors are secure. Key holder was notified.

4:05 a.m. – Medical: 84-year-old male has pain on his right side. OCA and Theodosia Area VFD responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.

9:09 a.m. – Medical: Person is breathing but not responsive. OCA and Caney Mountain VFD responded. Air Evac was dispatched. OCA transported patient to meet Air Evac at landing zone. 

11:10 a.m. – Caller said home health nurse took his belongings and has them in her garage at home. Handled by OCSD officer, who spoke with reporting party by phone.

12:18 p.m. – Medical: 72-year-old female is lethargic. Home health nurse is there. OCA and Caney Mountain VFD responded.

12:39 p.m. – Medical: 85-year-old female has chest pressure. South Howell County Ambulance and Air Evac responded.

12:46 p.m. – Caller said his son is on his way from St. Louis to go toe-to-toe with caller. He wanted to let OCSD know in case he calls back.

1:05 p.m. – Caller said a male is at Bullseye trying to get into cars. OCSd responded. Subject arrested.

2:25 p.m. – Caller reported a lost lady’s pink wallet with zipper and all identifiers in it. Lost at Rocky Top Campground. Wanted on record in case it’s found.

3:02 p.m. – Security alarm activated at Ranch House. OCSD responded. Contacted owner, and everything is OK.

5:59 p.m. – Reporting party hit a deer with his 2005 Escape on JJ Highway. Wanted it on record.

8:33 p.m. – Reporting party said her neighbor came to her making threats. OCSD responded.

11:39 p.m. – Howell County called OCSD and said it had received a call from a mother living in Arizona who said her son had been assaulted at Hammond Camp. OCSD officer made contact with caller’s son and camp leaders. There has been no assault, no injuries and no on has called mother in Arizona. OCSD advised Howell County.

 

July 26

11:05 a.m. – Three-fold black wallet and Samsung smart phone were lost near O’Reilly’s. Wanted it on record in case found.

6:12 p.m. – Medical: 67-year-old male has headache and chest pains. OCA and Bakersfield VFD responded.

8:17 p.m. – Unspecified call on Apple Seed Lane. OCSD rendered assistance.

8:37 p.m. – Caller reported fraud: Cash Net has deposited money in her account. OCSD rendered assistance.

9:26 p.m. – Lift assistance requested at Harlin Heights. Gainesville VFD responded. Subject refused any medical attention just wanted help getting to bed.

11:09 p.m. – Vehicle stop, Ballpark Road. OCSD rendered assistance.

11:20 p.m. – Caller said father and mother are fighting on County Road 342. Father was outside, shooting gun, threatening to kill the mother. OCSD responded. Checked OK.

 

July 27

8:23 a.m. – Caller on County Road 563 said a brown cow had kicked and broken the headlight on his 2005 Jeep Liberty. He wanted it on record and is going to try to get owner to pay for headlight. Call was also shared with Missouri State Highway Patrol.

8:39 a.m. – Well-being / security check at Harlin Heights. OCSD responded. Checked OK.

8:51 a.m. – Beer driver is throwing a fit at Bullseye. Handled by officer. Matter has been resolved.

10:13 a.m. – Eight locks are off at Mathews Storage. OCSD took report.

12:23 p.m. – Reporting party from County Road 184A is in Colorado, but her debit card number was used in California, and it wiped out her account. OCSD rendered assistance.

1:19 p.m. – Single-vehicle overturned on Highway 160 by Newton Drilling. No injuries. OCSD and Lick Creek VFD responded. At 1:28 p.m., MSHP called for OCA and said one person at accident scene needed to be checked out. Call was later canceled.

1:37 p.m. – Shoplifting caught on camera at Dollar General. Handled by OCSD officer. 

1:48 p.m. – Caller said a Jeep was sitting at end of County Road 833 with a man in it. Caller gave the man some water. OCSD rendered assistance.

7:11 p.m. – Caller said a black Ford is doing donuts in the Subway parking lot. OCSD responded; gone on arrival.

8:48 p.m. – Search warrant in Dora; unable to locate.

11:27 p.m. – Subject arrested. Prisoner transport to Howell County Line.

 

July 28

12:07 a.m. – Caller wants to leave a residence on Clinton Drive. OCSD rendered assistance. Subject left residence.

12:12 a.m. – Subject and unknown male are fighting in yard on County Road 806. OCSD rendered assistance.

1:31 a.m. – Person on County Road 806 is throwing rocks at car and house. OCSD rendered assistance. 

8:10 a.m. – Jailer smelled smoke in Ozark County Jail. Upon searching pod with deputy, marijuana residue was found in a pod housing two inmates. Report was taken.

8:23 a.m. – Medical: female of unknown age fell off ladder; unknown injuries. OCA and Air Evac responded. Air Evac transported patient to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.

10:00 a.m. – Caller said he saw a stray dog near his home on County Road 630. It is a male dog with multi-colored collar, reddish fur, curled tail, neutered, bull-terrier type. Wanted it on record in case someone called.

10:17 a.m. – Reporting party says his vehicle has broken down at a dangerous spot near Highways 160 and P. Theodosia Area VFD and Sam’s Wrecker responded.

11:01 a.m. – Medical: 89-year-old female fell and has leg pain. OCA and Timber Knob VFD responded. Patient transported to BRMC.

7:32 p.m. – Guy in black Malibu is shooting firearm up in the air near Pettit Campground. OCSD, MSHP responded. Subject arrested.

7:52 p.m. – 1965 Ford Mustang was reported stolen from County Road 806. OCSD took report, entered into MULES.

10:25 p.m. – Trespassing reported on Highway 5 south. OCSD responded. Subject arrested.

 

July 29

12:18 a.m. – Brown horse is in roadway on Highway 5 north south of Highways y and Z. OCSD responded but was unable to locate. Caller said later that horse is in nearby field if someone calls.

1:22 a.m. – Traffic stop at Highway MM and County Road 806. Citation issued; court date given of Oct. 9 at 11 a.m. Ron’s Recovery towing was called.

8:47 a.m. – Caller reported a 14-year-old male runaway who left home sometime after 10 p.m. on July 28. He was last seen wearing a white “surf”-logo T-shirt, khaki shorts and sandals. Unknown method or travel or route. He may possibly be headed to Mississippi to his biological mother’s home. Missing person was entered into MULES. Attempt to contact was made and message was sent. Reporting party called again and said juvenile was possibly at his maternal grandmother’s home in Howell County. Contact was made with the subject, and he is safe. Handled by officer.

12:00 p.m. – Caller said one resident at a facility struck another resident on the right shoulder with his fist. No injuries present. Wanted it on record at this time.

2:37 p.m. – Caller said a male subject driving a Ford vehicle has been at the property on County Road 132 and will not leave, although property owner has asked him to. Handled by OCSD officer.

5:49 p.m. – Caller said a door was kicked in on Pioneer Lane and stuff was stolen between yesterday and today. Report was taken.

7:13 p.m. – Lost or stolen trailer tag reported on County Road 522. Reporting party will come in and fill out statement and bring title. Tag was not entered into MULES yet.

9:16 p.m. – Reporting party said a subject is trying to break into the back of the house on Pioneer Lane. OCSD responded. Warrant arrest for two males at the house. One male arrested.

10:04 p.m. – Reporting party is trying to connect with children who are staying with their father in Mountain Home, but he keeps rejecting the calls. OCSD advised civil action.

 

July 30

6:31 a.m. – Cattle in roadway on County Road 830. OCSD rendered assistance.
