Dec. 25

9:06 a.m. – Medical: 80-year-old female has abdominal cramps. Gainesville VFD first responders and Ozark County Ambulance responded. Patient was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

10:35 a.m. – Caller said a woman sitting on the sidewalk at Bullseye on First Street has been asked to leave, but she refuses. OCSD rendered assistance.

11:13 a.m. – Medical: Person has walking pneumonia and needs to go to hospital. OCA responded; patient was transported to BRMC.

6:22 p.m. – Caller hit deer on Highway 95 near Souder Store; no vehicle damage. Caller is taking meat; wanted it on record.

9:27 p.m. – Medical: 36-year-old male has neuropathy of spine, fever, chest pain and trouble breathing. Theodosia Area VFD first responders and OCA responded. Patient was transported by air to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

10:53 p.m. – Medical: Life Alert system was activated, no contact with patient. Timber Knob VFD and OCA responded. False alarm.

 

Dec. 26

6:36 a.m. – Medical: 66-year-old male with chest pains. OCA and Air Evac responded. Patient was transported.

6:56 a.m. – Medical: 82-year-old male is not feeling well. Pontiac VFD and South Howell Ambulance responded.

9:43 a.m. – Caller reported a big white dog at County Roads 669 and 665. Wanted it on record in case anyone calls.

11:31 a.m. – Brush fire  on Carter Drive. Theodosia Area VFD responded with Pontiac VFD on standby. Homeowner got the fire put out.

12:27 p.m. – Unspecified suspicious incident at Hilltop Storage. Handled by OCSD officer.

2:47 p.m. – Prisoner transport: Josiah Wheat for Dustin Pippin, Douglas County. 

3: 58 p.m. – Medical: 55-year-old male is shaking, nervous and has numbness in extremities and tightness in chest. OCA responded. Patient was transported to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.

5:34 p.m. – ADT residential panic alarm on Buckhorn Ranch Road. OCSD responded. Gate was locked. Officer walked to make contact with owner, who confirmed his girlfriend had accidentally set off the alarm while feeding the horses. 

6:32 p.m. – Caller said an eastbound tractor-trailer is riding the middle line of Highway 160 west of the Gainesville sale barn.

7:07 p.m. – Prisoner transport: Mikel Parmenter, Howell County. 

8:23 p.m. – OCSD vehicle stop. Vehicle was dragging a line. No police action.

9:11 p.m. – Medical: 51-year-old female has difficulty breathing. Tecumseh VFD and OCA responded. Patient was transported to OMC.

9:29 p.m. – Caller said a bald man with tattoos is knocking on her back door on Weasel Lane. OCSD responded. Subject arrested.

 

Dec. 27

12:08 a.m. – Caller said he was assaulted by a person and has gone to the emergency room with a fractured ankle, various contusions and lacerations. Report was taken.

12:13 a.m. – Medical: 52-year-old female in respiratory distress. OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.

7:49 a.m. – Medical: 83-year-old male’s defibrillator went off four times last night. Pontiac VFD and OCA responded. 

9:56 a.m. – Caller said a door is open on a white trailer with a blue shed on W Highway. OCSD rendered assistance.

11:08 a.m. – Medical: 90year-old male has back problems. Lick Creek VFD and OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.

11:14 a.m. – Caller said a young woman wearing a backpack is walking down Highway 95 by Almartha. OCSD rendered assistance.

1:06 p.m. – Well-being / security check requested on 87-year-old female. OCSD officer responded. Checked OK. Woman will call the reporting party.

1:49 p.m. – Caller said dogs at a resident on County Road 123 are starving and  their bones are showing. OCSD responded; no animals in the area fit description caller gave. Dogs in the area do have food and water.

5:04 p.m. – Caller said her ex-husband passed away, and now his brother is taking things from the property. Handled by OCSD officer who spoke with both parties. They agreed to not take anything from the property until it goes to probate.

5:45 p.m. – Howards Ridge-area caller said she is hearing muzzle-loader gunshots after the dusk cutoff for deer hunting. Wanted it on record. OCSD left message with Missouri Depart-ment of Conservation agent. At 6:05 reporting party made contact with person who had shot the deer.

10:19 p.m. – Jason Mansker arrested in Isabella.

 

Dec. 28

12:28 a.m. – Medical: 90-year-old female in respiratory distress. OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.

11:06 a.m. – OCSD made a traffic stop in Bakersfield.

1:12 p.m. – Medical: 15-year-old male domestic abuse. Report taken; OCA responded.

1:18 p.m. – Medical: 48-year-old female having possible stroke. Dora VFD, South Howell County Ambulance, Air Evac responded. Patient was transported.

5:40 p.m. – Medical: 56-year-old male is having trouble breathing, hasn’t eating in almost a month. OCA responded. 

7:13 p.m. – Warrant arrests on Highway 160.

7:24 p.m. – Transport, Greene County. 

7:40 p.m. – Subjects are fighting on County Road 806. Handled by OCSD officer.

8:57 p.m. – Vehicles towed at Elm Street and Harlin Drive. 

10:28 p.m. – Caller can see someone with flashlight in empty trailer house on Highway 160. OCSD responded. Subject arrested.

 

Dec. 29

7:48 a.m. – Caller said 3 people in a silver, four-door Ford are asking for money for gas at Bullseye. They have been harassing customers for the last couple of hours. Handled by OCSD officer.

9:18 a.m. – Caller said he has some video games missing. OCSD officer spoke with reporting party by phone.

10:54 a.m. – Caller said a big, galvanized colored mailbox was stolen overnight on County Road 597. The mailbox has 62 and 331 on it. It has BCC on the lid and it doesn’t not close very well. OCSD rendered assistance.

8:55 p.m. – Medical: 84-year-old female. OCA responded.

9:09 p.m. – Caller hit a deer with his 2000 Jeep on CC Highway near Hammond Camp. Wanted it on record.

9:17 and 9:18 p.m. – Vehicle accident on Highway 160 at County Road 829. Cox Ambulance from Ava responding. Jim’s Body Shop also dispatched.

10:03 p.m. – Caller said an older, white van is parked at The Center. OCSD responded; unable to locate.

11:21 p.m. – Caller said a subject is at residence on County Road 513 and is threating her and refuses to leave. OCSD rendered assistance; subject left residence.

11:47 p.m. – OCSD traffic stop on Highway 160 by Newton Drilling. Assistance rendered.

 

Dec. 30

12:06 a.m. – OCSD traffic stop on J Highway near Lick Creek bridge. Assistance rendered.

10:11 a.m. – Caller said her ex-boyfriend has destroyed her personal effects from the home on County Road 349. OCSD rendered assistance.

1:05 p.m. – Caller said someone damaged his mailbox last night on County Road 585. Only wanted it on record at this time.

1:24 p.m. – Caller reported a lost red baldey or black baldey or solid black heifer with double orange tags (1601-1626) branded on right hip with Rockin O Rocking Chair. Has been missing from County Road 112 in Wasola area since deer season. Caller wanted it on record in case animal is found.

2:01 p.m. – Wright County called and said a 911 call came to them from a female reporting a vehicle accident with several injuries in area of County Road 112. OCA, Air Evac, Ron’s Recovery dispatched or alerted and then canceled.

7:12 p.m. – Caller wants a person removed from his property in Gainesville. OCSD rendered assistance. 

8:16 p.m. – Highway obstruction reported on Highway 181 at Hillside. OCSD rendered assistance; Ron’s Recovery towed vehicle.

9:41 p.m. – Caller hit a deer with her 2003 Chevy truck on H Highway. OCSD rendered assistance.

10:30 p.m. – Caller said a red Ford F150 truck with extended cab ran him off J Highway. MSHP, OCSD: subject arrested.

10:50 p.m. – Stranded motorist on Highway 160. OCSD rendered assistance.

 

Dec. 31

12:23 a.m. – Caller said a woman stole the truck keys and is walking down the road. The subject who stole the keys called 911 saying they got in a fight, and she is walking down the road and doesn’t know where she is. OCSD rendered assistance, provided courtesy ride for female to Bullseye.

9:32 a.m. – Medical: 91-year-old male has leg, back and arm pain due to recent fall. Lick Creek VFD and OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.

10:46 a.m. – Caller said the keypad is broken at Family Services building. OCSD officer spoke with office staff. The facility was not broken into; the door had not been latched properly. Nothing was taken. Checked OK.

2:01 p.m. – Caller said a man sitting in his car on Highway 160 at Spring Creek Bridge appears to be sleeping, but caller would like OCSD to check on him. OCSD responded; gone on arrival. 

6:56 p.m. – Medical: 60-year-old male has high fever and is passing out. Wasola VFD and OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC. 

10:30 p.m. – Subject on County Road 835 is suspected to be on drugs. Handled by OCSD officer.

9:39 p.m. – Drugs were found on OCSD property. Report taken.

11:26 p.m. – Caller said a car is sitting inside Cloud 9 Ranch entrance with campfire. OCSD rendered assistance. Cloud 9 is aware of the situation and is taking care of it.

11:33 p.m. – OCSD traffic stop on Highway 5 north. Assistance rendered.

11:37 p.m. – Medical: 85-year-old female is having possible heart attack. OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.
