Zanoni news: Oct. 4, 2017

The weather man is saying we might get some rain this week. We really need it.

One day last week Paul took Kenny Bushong to Ava to get his pickup. He had it up there for repairs.

Mr. and Mrs. Fulkerson visited Ray McDaniel. Mrs. Fulkerson is Ray’s sister.

We are seeing lots of motorcycles on the road. They are taking advantage of the nice weather.

Paul hauled some cattle to the sale barn for Wally last week.

Lots of people attended Ag Day at the sale barn Saturday. Lots of good information was given out.

I talked to Virginia Grisham Kastning in Wichita one day recently. She had had a bad fall a few days ago but was home. One of her grandsons is living in her basement.

Leroy and Norma Morrison spent Saturday in Springfield. Norma did some shopping, and they went to the Wilson Creek Battlefield. They were also celebrating Leroy’s birthday.

Dwain and Betty Morrison were in St. Louis last week. They then visited some of their kids before coming home.

Paul and I went to The Center for dinner Sunday after church. The food was good, and it is always good to visit with friends.

The hummingbirds are gone, but there are some pretty butterflies around my flowers on the front porch.

Everyone have a good week and begin thinking about your wood pile for the winter.
