Lutie girls fall to Spokane

The Lutie Lady Indians high school basketball team dropped a contest Dec. 3 to Spokane 59-25.

Leading scorers for Lutie were Katie Allmon with 8 and Makayla McFarlin with 6.

"The girls are continuing to play hard from start to finish," said Lutie coach Adam Grant. "We are just trying to find ways to score the points right now. We're a young team, and we are continuing to learn and improve each game."

The Lady Indians will play at Chadwick Thursday night for a 6 p.m. game, and will host New Covenant on Dec. 17.

Meanwhile, the Lutie boys' team was scheduled to play Cabool Tuesday night, Details from that game were unavailable at press time. The boys also will play New Covenant at Lutie on Dec. 18.
