Lutie December students of the month

Lutie School’s students of the month for December are, from left, Cheyenne Clinton, seventh grade; Stephen Pettit, 10th grade; and (front) Lily Bohon,  second grade. School-wide, teachers nominate students in three age groups (kindergarten-fourth grade), (fifth-eighth grade) and (ninth-12th grade) in the category of the word of the month, which, for December was compassion. All students who were nominated for the December award showed responsibility above and beyond the norm. The teachers and staff voted on the students who were nominated, and these three were selected in the designated age groups.
