On Jan. 4, the Humane Society of Missouri's Animal Cruelty Task Force recovered 29 Lakeland Terriers from a formerly licensed breeder in Ozark County. HSMO indicates the dogs have been neglected. They have been transfered to the organization's shelter for care and rehabilitation. It is expected that all the dogs will be available for adoption after they recover.
