The National Weather Service confirmed that an EF-1 tornado occurred near the Taney-Ozark County line west of Theodosia at 3:50 Tuesday, April 30. NWS said the twister, shown in this photo taken by Theodosia Pharmacy employee Jessica Workman, touched down 4 miles northeast of Protem and was on the ground for approximately eight minutes before lifting 5 miles northwest of Theodosia. “Numerous trees were down.
