Menus
Lunch is served daily from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is open to everyone. The cost is $6 for those younger than 60; a $3.50 donation is requested for those over 60. Call 679-4746 to order take-out for 25 cents more.

Wednesday, April 25: lasagna, California-blend vegetables, breadstick, pineapple casserole. Thursday, April 26: pot roast, mashed potatoes & gravy, Scandinavian-blend vegetables, fresh-baked roll, banana split salad. Friday, April 27: fried fish, brown beans, coleslaw, cornbread, apple dumplings. Monday, April 30: orange chicken, fried rice, egg roll, Oriental-blend vegetables. Tuesday, May 1: oven-fried chicken, rosemary potatoes, country-blend vegetables, homestyle biscuit, peace pie. Wednesday, May 2: fried shrimp, baked potato, Tuscan-blend vegetables, fresh-baked roll, cake and ice cream. Thursday,  May 3: pulled-pork sandwich, tropical fruit, macaroni salad, chocolate chip cookie. Friday: May 4: fried fish, coleslaw, brown beans, cornbread, brownies.

OATS
OATS transportation is available to the entire county and is available to anyone regardless of age, income, disability, race, gender, religion or national origin. If you don’t see your area listed, call driver Angela Pleasant, 417-343-0573, for help arranging your ride. For rides from Bakersfield, Caulfield and Dora, call Jean Lawing, 284-7377; from Theodosia and Gainesville, call Mary Piepergerdes, 679-4142.To arrange rides to Springfield, call Lawing or Pleasant.
This is the schedule for the rest of April and for May: Every Thursday of the month, Caulfield and Bakersfield go to West Plains. Saturday, April 28: Fearless Aging Expo in Springfield. Monday, April 30: Pontiac goes to Branson. Tuesday, May 1: Theodosia and Gainesville go to Ava. Tuesday, May 8: Theodosia and Gainesville go to West Plains. Monday, May 14: Pontiac, Gainesville and Theodosia go to Springfield. Tuesday, May 15: Theodosia and Gainesville go to Mountain Home, Arkansas. Monday, May 21: Caulfield and Bakersfield go to Mountain Home. Tuesday, May 22: The whole county goes to Gainesville. The business meeting will be this day at The Center at 12:30 p.m.; business meetings are open to the public. The food pantry will be open this day at a special time for OATS riders only.
