19 units collected at recent blood drive

A total of 19 donors participated and 19 units of blood were collected during the April 11 American Red Cross blood drive at the First Baptist Church in Gainesville. Donors were Joy A. Love, Diane White, Joe Easterday, Thomas Bentele, Bob Robbins, Virginia Beckham, Edmund Beckham, Elda Edwards, Gale Wooten, Bob Main, Robert Edwards, Jerry Kiger, Troy Bohannon, Dennis Lawson, Hope Hillhouse, Wayman King, John Jacob, Tracey Amyx and Jack Strong.
Volunteers were Lana Cockrum, Diane White, Bob Robbins and Sandra Funk. Gainesville Church of Christ, Town and Country Supermarket, and Gainesville First Baptist Church provided refreshments for the canteen.
The American Red Cross will return to the First Baptist Church here for another blood drive on June 6. Theodosia Methodist Church will provide the canteen, and June St. Laurent will coordinate the event.
