On Mother’s Day weekend, John and Brandi Sears from Indiana visited John’s parents, Eddie and Linda. Edgar and Sharon Stewart visited their friends in Tennessee. Since my niece Dara Strong’s vehicle has been broke down, I have been taking her to Springfield for her appointments. One Tuesday I took our daughter, Honie, to the Springfield Mercy Hospital ER. She spent a week there with staph infections. Another Tuesday I took my niece Dara to her appointment and got home in time to return to Springfield to get Honie.
Sympathy to the families of Mickey Wharton, Boyd Davis, my cousin Patsy Dobbs and Leon Lane.
On Sunday, May 27, I got to go to Hicks Cemetery. It’s always nice to see old friends. Fern Gray is still going strong. Her daughter Donna and husband bring her. The new pavilion is up. In May 2015 the tornado destroyed everything.
Dana Brazeal went to the Cox South Hospital ER Thursday about her hernia. The doctor said she needed it done now, so the next day she had the operation.
