Hello from our home to yours.
Monday was a movie day. Tuesday we had our armchair travel to Switzerland and enjoyed ice cream in the morning and our monthly birthday party in the afternoon. We served German chocolate cake because we were also celebrating our dietary manager, Shawn Lewellen's birthday, and that is his favorite cake. Debbie Cobb joined us for Bible study Tuesday afternoon.
Next was John Wayne Wednesday, when we enjoyed westerns and played dominoes. I did manicures for any of the ladies who wanted their nails done.
On Thursday, our walking club enjoyed a nice walk around the building. We had to move our walking club to the morning so we can still enjoy the outdoors before it gets too hot. Thursday afternoon we worked on dreamcatchers during our artists workshop.
Friday morning we said good-bye to Robbie Stephenson, who has moved to Harlin Heights. We are all so proud of her success. We also had a pre-Fourth of July party. The residents enjoyed popsicles and watching Landyn Lewellen and Hunter Gott shoot off small fireworks. After the fireworks show, the walking club enjoyed another walk outside then we played dominoes and Bingo.
