Lady Falcons improve to 14-1

The Dora Lady Falcons' softball squad is having an unbelievable year, and the team added to that status this past week with two more wins to move to 14-1 on the season.
The Dora bats have been rattling all season long, and this past week was no exception as the Lady Falcons outslugged Seymour and Willow Springs 22-3.
In their game against Willow Springs on Sept. 18, Dora's Makala Trail was winning pitcher, striking out 8 in a shutout of the Lady Bears 9-0.
Leading the way offensively for Dora were Monica Kelley, Kelsi Land and Makenzie Smith with two hits each in the game.
The Lady Falcons traveled to Seymour on Monday night and Makala Trail went 3 for 3 while Monica Kelley and Shelby Collins each went 3 for 4 to lead Dora to a 13-3 win over the Lady Tigers. Trail was again the winning pitcher with 8 strikeouts.
Dora will host Mountain Grove at 4 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 25).
