Lady Falcons beat Lady Bulldogs, 11-4

Dora’s Keeli Land hurls a pitch during the Dora Lady Falcons’ game against Gainesville Monday night. Dora’s varsity team won, 11-4. The JV game ended in a 9-9 tie. Land allowed eight hits, giving up four runs. “Only two of those were earned runs,” said Dora coach Dylan Fox. “She recorded three strikeouts and really commanded her pitches throughout the game. It was one of the better games she’s had all year.” Land was backed up by a team batting average of .387. Makenzie Gardner (second photo), was among the Dora hitters, going 2-3 with a two-run homerun and two RBIs. Kryslyn Colvin was 2-3 with an RBI as well. Dora traveled to Willow Springs Tuesday and will host Koshkonong Thursday at 4 p.m.
