Game benefits Project Graduation

Gainesville High School basketball players are pitting age against youth in games set for 6 p.m. April 1 to raise money for Project Graduation. In addition to the games, spectators will be treated to performances by the Bulldoggettes elementary cheerleading squad, the GHS cheerleaders and the Missouri State University - West Plains Grizzlies cheerleaders.
Traced, a rock band with members Abbi Harlin, Robert Voss, Davy Peter and Chris McKinzie, will also perform throughout the evening. There will also be a 50/50 raffle with all proceeds going to Project Graduation.
The women hit the floor first, with alumni basketball players taking on the high school team members. Members of the alumni are Marti Kyle Warden, Kelly Kyle Humphries, Chrystal Holmes Meek, Penny Cochran Britt, Shannan Crisp McGee, Susannah Tabor Alms, Renee Hambelton, April Klineline Luna, Misti Johnson Eslinger, Candice Acklin Anderson, Crystal Smith, Sally Ledbetter Hambelton and Shelby Warden. The women are coached by Paula Herd Rose. Members of the high school team are Haley Whisnant, Sarah Warden, Kara Hambelton, Kara Lemons, Paige Walrath, Cheyenne DeWeese and Nikki Lazorchak. The girls are coached by GHS coach Judy Tilly.
The men's faculty team vs. the boys high school team members follows. Members of the faculty team weren't available at press time. Members of the boys' team are Brian Contreras, Corey Pool, Austin Thompson, Matthew Peter, Sawyer Jeckstadt, Dakota Nash, Alan Landers, Davy Peter, Alex Blackburn and Dos Aitugonov.
