For the fifth consecutive year, the Gainesville High School academic team brought home the first-place trophy from the Summit Conference tournament.

If the Gainesville School’s application for a FEMA grant is accepted, the district’s tentative plans are for a new 7,800-square-foot storm-shelter structure that would be added to the front of the current high school building.
